All nine Flameyellow Imperial Arts could be fused together to attain a power that was greater than the sum of its parts. Needless to say, the process of fusing would get progressively more difficult, but if Tianming managed it, his combat power would rise to absolutely new heights.
"Even a single one of these Grand-Dao-class cosmic arts is strong enough. I wonder how powerful the fusion of two or three together, along with the totem aspect, would be."
Wudi was also studying the tombstones beside Tianming and came to discuss his observations. They arrived at pretty much a similar conclusion. Tianming returned the gesture and chuckled. "Even if I hadn't, my comprehension's still much better than yours. You don't have to search for an excuse for being slower before we even start."
Wudi was so mad that he almost coughed out blood. "What an unfilial son!"
Uncle Tai Xu, on the other hand, couldn't be bothered to react. It was all too used to seeing this father-son duo banter.

Yet, Tianming had to walk this path no matter how hard it was. He and Wudi came to a tombstone with the word "inferno" inscribed onto it. Tianming had once seen a vision from the Imperator's Mural of Imperator Inferno demonstrating his sword strike. The cosmic art in the tombstone before him was probably the original source for that strike. This was the original creation of Imperator Inferno: Skyblaze Cosmic Inferno.
Ying Huo also popped out and started studying the sword art. It had once witnessed the same demonstration with Tianming, so it also shared quite a bit of the same insights.

Tianming and Ying Huo's caeli quickly sank into the tombstone. They found themselves in a universe formed from purgatorial fire. There were sixteen streams of flaming galactic rivers, interconnected as they burned away at the universe. From a distance, they looked like a massive ocean that burned the firmament. All the stars that made up those galaxies were flaming worlds, bursting to life the moment their caeli entered the space, sending roiling flames towards them!
"Holy crap! It's tens of thousands of times stronger than the strike from the Imperator's Mural!" Ying Huo cried, instantly swallowed up by the flames.
"Such a weak chicken." Tianming chuckled as the infernal order within him pulsed with power, forming a terrifying layer of flames around him.
The strike he had learned from the Imperator's Mural required facing off against sixteen galactic streams of fire, but this time, it was the entire universe! Had Tianming tried to learn this technique much earlier, he would've been completely swallowed up by the flames in an instant.
Ying Huo quickly managed to stabilize itself, surrounded by the power of its order that helped it resist the power of those stars of flame. It couldn't even speak; the moment it opened its beak, it would be bathed in flames. It was as if all the flames in the universe were focused on attacking it.
"As expected of an art of the Grand Dao class. Skyblaze Cosmic Inferno is true to its name. Once mastered, I'll be able to use the power of flames to dominate all!"
Though this was among the strongest moves he encountered to date, his excellent comprehension allowed him to make progress much faster than Wudi. He did have the basics already, not to mention insights from infernal order.
After some time, Ying Huo managed to stabilize its body amidst the blazing flames. "This feels good! I'm turning into roast chicken!"

As for Ying Huo, it wouldn't make nearly as fast progress as Tianming. Not that it had to either. Tianming was the one who needed to learn the other eight moves.
He left Ying Huo and Wudi behind and moved to the next tombstone with the word "carnage" inscribed into it. It was a legacy from Imperator Carnage, Carnage Sword Prison!
