Chapter 4581 - Onward to Yueling Starcage
Chapter 4581 - Onward to Yueling Starcage
Bai Ye laid atop Tianming's head as if in deep thought. "This universe was huge to begin with. The Upper Star Ruin alone is billions of times larger than you, Little Li."
Tianming understood that he was miniscule even compared to the universe as he knew it, but learning that there was a much wider universe out there blew his mind.
"So, the Primordial God-Emperor himself is a universe composed of nova-source worlds, which are like astrons. Does that mean that my middlekin astrons are like nova-source worlds too? What a grand sight that is..."
Within the universe that Tianming knew, countless stars came into being and perished. Countless clans and races came and went. Yet, a massive nova-source world was merely a single astron of the Primordial God-Emperor's body. The extinguishing of a whole world made barely any difference to the rest of the universe at all.
Tianming imagined how every single one of his middlekin astrons was also a nova-source world. Perhaps even imperial-class worlds were also nothing more than larger middlekin astrons, the very things that changed nonstop and grew in number within his body all the time.
"I started off as a mere mortal and became an ascendent, then, I became an astral god and then a cosmic god. Yet, even cosmic gods are nothing compared to the Primordial God-Emperor..."
He couldn't help but wonder how wide the gap truly was. What in the world did one have to experience after becoming a cosmic god to become a true universe? What would happen to him once he became a true universe? It was completely incomprehensible for him.
For instance, Tianming's centuries of cultivation was almost nothing on the timescale of the Primordial God-Emperor. Perhaps it was nothing but the blink of an eye for a universe-sized being. A mere flicker within his body. Even the five-hundred-thousand-year lifespan of a primocosmic god might be nothing more than a mayfly's ephemeral existence to a being like that.
While Tianming was still mired in puzzlement, Bai Ye got more and more excited. It was interested in everything about the Realm of Worldgazing and yearned to recover its Primordial Chaos Beast memories as well as its mission. "Now that we know that the real universe is out there, how much larger do you think it is?"
Ying Huo stretched its wings as wide as it could until it felt a little dizzy. It couldn't even begin to comprehend the vastness, so it stopped trying.
Ji Ji, on the other hand, had an idea. "If you can't imagine it, let's scale it down instead. Imagine that we're nothing but a single lifeform living in a single middlekin astron within Little Li's body."
Tianming and his other beasts tried to imagine it. First, they imagined themselves as beings that were much smaller than middlekin astrons. Then, they imagined the universe that they knew, the one outside of Tianming's body.
"Does that mean the outer universe is as large as our universe when viewed from within only one of my middlekin astrons?" Tianming's cosmic-god body was already quite a large object as far as he was concerned, and even then, it was nothing more than a speck of dust in the universe of the Primordial God-Emperor's body.
"And to think that Xiaoxiao and Yi Daiyan left the universe as we know it from the Archaionfiends' lair into the wider universe beyond... Are they in the Realm of Worldgazing?" Tianming wondered.
Li Muyang had described the Realm of Worldgazing as infinitely vast. Did it have any boundaries at all?
Xian Xian's cute spiritform came to Tianming and looked at his left and right eyes. "Old Dad said that Ninth will only hatch after we reach the Minor Chaos Dock. I'm guessing Ninth and Tenth's hatching conditions have something to do with the Realm of Worldgazing rather than this universe."
As usual, Xian Xian was looking forward to the coming of their new sibling. Tianming nodded, noting that the eggs that were his irises showed some sign of cracking. He had wondered whether Ninth and Tenth would hatch at the same time, but Li Muyang seemed to suggest that it would be one after another.
"We have to get rid of the Aeternal Beings before we can head to the Minor Chaos Dock." He looked at the Grand-Orient swords and the many runes on it that appeared after Jie Ba, Shen Wu and Dao San were dealt with. "To think that Dad and Mom traded their lives for Dao San and Jie Ba's."
Tianming managed to find peace with how things turned out, knowing that he was the continuation of Li Tianzi while his Realm of Chaos parents eventually became their tenth reincarnations. The ones that had been revived by Dao San were mere echoes of the wills of their first reincarnations.
"Even then, it still feels kind of hollow..." He sighed. Apart from Huang Qi and Tian Jiu, Tianming had four more Number Monsters to deal with, namely, one, two, four and six. The thought of that weighed heavily on him.
Di Yi, the massive purple eyeball, greatly unnerved him. Huang Qi also told him that number two was even stronger than Di Yi, and he didn't have any idea of the kind of monster numbers four and six were.
He looked around the ruined world where nothing else existed and made up his mind. "Let's go to Yueling Starcage."
Dealing with the Aeternal Beings wouldn't be easy, but first, he had to unite the Realm of Chaos.
