"Sounds like the wonderians themselves aren't that amazing then. Even with these methods available to you all, you still aren't Tianming's match."
"But of course! There's no way a servant can best her master!" she said, blushing and turning her teary eyes towards him. "Master, have you witnessed my sincerity?"
"It's alright, I guess." Tianming furrowed his brow. "Since you're the number two person in charge, you're the core of this plan, right? You even have the core of the Perpetual Wondersky Formation."
"You're right, Master. Your humble servant is the person that Imperator Shen trusts the most. I am the key to the whole plan. Even though I'm not able to stop the rest of the elites from absorbing talent soul breath, I am absolutely necessary for triggering the refinement of caeli."
"Are you able to stop them from doing so?" Tianming asked.
"That's not possible. But I can at least stop them from refining all the caeli. The effects they'll get from the refinement will also be greatly diminished."
That was still good news. Tianming looked deeply at her once more, knowing that she had brought the most important thing she could with her to supplement her defection. As long as she was on Tianming's side, the wonderians' control over the Perpetual Wondersky Formation would be greatly limited. All this was a consequence of Tian Jiu's rebirth.
"How about it, Master? Will you accept me as your humble slave?" She looked up and twisted her body in a shy manner. "I have been alone all my life but all the wonderians around me are paired up. I have felt lonely for far too long..."
"I'll take you in provisionally, but cut it with that act," Tianming said with a chuckle. Though he was used to the wondersky fairy's antics, Zi Zhen definitely wasn't. When he looked at her, he noticed the specter girl glaring at the wondersky fairy, probably at the brink of tearing her to shreds. This was bound to be trouble. She also acted somewhat like this when Moran was around, but the wondersky fairy seemed much better at pushing her buttons.
"When you run into trouble again, you should fight with this woman by your side," Tianming told Zi Zhen. "She's quite good at drawing out your full potential."
"Please don't. I think I won't be able to hold myself back from attacking her," Zi Zhen said with a snicker.
"Good old Zi Zhen, huh?" Tianming shook his head in resignation. Then, he thought of something and turned to the wondersky fairy. "By the way, aren't the wondersky realms built in the Xenoworld? Are you related to Di Yi?"
He recalled that he had drawn the attention of a massive eye when he was trying to use the Sky Plundering Hand to pass into a wondersky realm. It seemed like Di Yi was involved with wondersky realms somehow.
"Di Yi is the lord of the Xenoworld. The wonderians have a working relationship with him," she said, happy that Tianming finally trusted her. Then again, it wasn't like she was giving away a huge secret. "However, he has gone missing lately, leaving the Xenoworld in a bit of a chaotic state. The wondersky realms have felt the brunt of his absence."
Di Yi's disappearance reminded Tianming of Lingfeng. He wondered how his brother was doing. Feng's struggle against Di Yi seems to have reached a stalemate. Since Di Yi hasn't shown himself for quite a while, Feng should be fine. He was certain about one thing: If Lingfeng managed to defeat Di Yi, he would definitely come to Tianming right away. If Di Yi won, there was no way he would let chaos fester in the Xenoworld. So, their battle was still to be decided.
"Alright. Yin Chen, report this to Auntie Jiguang. It's time we put her efforts to expand the dynasty in the Lower Star Ruins to good use. Issue a decree to ban everyone from entering wondersky realms from this day onward!"
Had the Lower Star Ruins been as chaotic as it used to be, spreading a common message, let alone a complete ban, would be exceedingly difficult. However, the Tianming Dynasty had begun to stabilize in the various Lower Star Ruins, serving as a conduit for Tianming's decrees.
"Thank goodness for Jiguang for taking charge back home." Tianming was really appreciative of how gentle and helpful she was. It would be ideal if her cultivation could catch up to his, but alas... Either way, he was quite assured to leave her in charge of this matter.

"I can," she said, blushing as she shuffled closer, only to be kicked away by Tianming. She wasn't mad and immediately flew back. "Master, you're so mean... But I like it. I recall that you made me bleed in the beginning of our fight."
"Huh?" Zi Zhen's eyelids twitched at those words.
"Ignore her bullshit," Tianming said.
"Bullshit, you say? Don't you remember the pleasant sensation when you gave her that grope earlier?" Zi Zhen snickered.
"What kind of person do you think I am? I only did that to subdue her! And it worked, as you can plainly see!"
Zi Zhen couldn't be bothered with the excuses and waved her hand. "Keep talking. I'll go back to rest."
She knew that Tianming was about to talk serious business with the wondersky fairy, so she gave them some space.
Tianming didn't linger on it. "I have a mission for you. Go to the Xenoworld in the Lower Star Ruins and destroy the largest and most developed wondersky realms. It should be possible as long as the phantom beasts are killed, right?"
The wondersky fairy's eyes opened wide. "Master, your request is too difficult! Do you even comprehend the scale of the largest wondersky realm? If I destroy it, wouldn't that let every single wonderian know that I've betrayed them?!"
