Chapter 3655 - The Final Path of Lifes Evolution
Chapter 3655 - The Final Path of Life's Evolution
Six high-maniverse-class wonders had already swept across the scene, enveloping the space in six distinct, real worlds. The worlds had divine weapons, human soldiers, evil spirits, a myriad of beasts, asuras, and others.
They came in all shapes and sizes, and they charged at the one-eyed spiritual bodies. All manner of weapons pierced through their astrons, tearing, ripping, and obliterating them. Such was the power of the wonderians, where one person could rival a thousand armies!
Of course, they weren’t actually Moran’s wonders, but that further showcased her terrifying abilities. Both Moran and Zi Zhen were anomalies that shouldn’t exist! And right now they were merely at the beginning of their growth. Tianming knew very well that each of them had immense potential to develop into top-tier combat forces.
"In the future, they’ll be able to greatly help me, becoming the pillars of my Tianming Dynasty!" Tianming felt emotional thanks to the immense commotion outside.
"Of course the imperial harem is a pillar of the dynasty. Heh heh," Ying Huo chuckled.
Meow Meow joined in laughing.
"Boss, I want to learn how to flirt, too! Why is it that, despite my heroic and majestic demeanor, no woman likes me?" Lan Huang asked in confusion.
Everyone burst into laughter.
"Shut up!" Tianming grit his teeth. The sweet and sentimental atmosphere had been completely ruined by them.
"Little Li’s plan is really impressive. He lets Big Sister Jiguang handle politics, flirts with Yaoyao, and trained two warrior girls to charge into battle for him. Finally, he’ll bring Ling’er back to oversee everything. Perfect!" Xian Xian teased with a giggle.
"Don’t forget Lin Xiaoxiao," Ji Ji added.
"She doesn’t count. She’s turned into Little Li’s mom for every day that dark mirror spirit doesn’t leave!" Xian Xian cackled.
"If it were me, I’d be furious to suddenly be demoted in seniority. But I guess there’s all kinds of fetishes," Ji Ji sarcastically added.
"You all sure have a lot to say. Not fighting today?" Tianming asked.
"Don’t worry, when it comes to the women around you, we’re surprisingly united!" Xian Xian and Ji Ji replied in unison.
Tianming was speechless.
The sound of fierce battles raged outside. Among the group, only Yin Chen was reliable, providing Tianming with constant updates on the chaotic melee. Although it wasn’t a training fanatic, it was a cleanliness freak and a workaholic, entirely uninterested in Tianming’s romantic escapades.
Otherwise, if it ever started gossiping, the headaches would truly be endless. After all, it had access to vast amounts of information and had seen countless things.
Yin Chen reported that Moran was holding her own without any major issues. The multitude of orderlies below third-level overflowers were no match for her. She was an unstoppable, one-person fortress.
Let’s hope Sixth doesn’t show up to disrupt things... Tianming thought to himself as the sensation before him grew stronger and stronger. He was now deep within a mysterious cavern of the Order College that was like a bottomless abyss.
Meow Meow was pushing Fiveway Blitzrun to its limits, plunging Tianming further into the unknown.
"This sensation... it’s somewhat similar to the Darkfiend Den."
Tianming recalled his previous descent into the Darkfiend Den along a path of blood while being blocked by darkfiends along the way. At that time, he had continuously fallen deeper, almost succumbing to the influence of the Archaionfiend Eye.
The descent this time had a similar unsettling feeling, though it was somewhat less intense. "It feels eerie, but it’s as if something is suppressing it."
He glanced at his Plundering Eye. It was currently in its centuroptic beast form, with over a hundred compound eyes all spinning in different directions. Just looking at it made him feel a sense of unease.
When he pointed his hand downward, the hundred scarlet eyes trembled as though fighting to look below and struggling to burst forth from his palm in their eagerness. It was all very bizarre.
"Still, the strongest sensation comes from the calling just now!" Tianming was certain that the summoning was connected to the formation cores fused into his body that belonged to the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb and the Sun’s fusion formation. It clearly had no connection to his bloodline, as he felt no stirring of any of the so-called cosmic god blood.
He continued descending. Formations occasionally blocked his path, but he broke through them one by one. "If it’s guarded this well, it must be the Original Sin Pool!"
Finally, he glimpsed a faint light breaking through the darkness below. It was a dim, faint light that was barely perceptible against the surrounding darkness.
"This is...." Narrowing his eyes, Tianming realized he was looking at a colossal bowl. It was so massive that it resembled a giant, lidless cauldron. The bowl was adorned with gold and black patterns that resembled a coiled divine dragon.
"This must be the Original Sin Pool!" Although he was still some distance away, Tianming felt that it was undoubtedly a divine artifact.
How to describe it? It was similar to the Flameyellow Coffin! But was the Flameyellow Coffin a cosmic artifact? Tianming still couldn’t tell. If it was, what level was it at? An imperial-class cosmic artifact?
Currently, his Grand-Orient Sword and many of the wonderians’ weapons were already high-maniverse-class. That implied that imperial-class artifacts weren’t that much more powerful. Thus, Tianming speculated that the Flameyellow Coffin might not be an imperial-class artifact.
Imperial-class wonders, nova source worlds, and astralships were all immensely strong. However, imperial-class artifacts should be relatively abundant.
"The surface of this Original Sin Pool appears to have a barrier confining something inside!"
Tianming sped up his descent. Below him lay one final formation; he could see that the vapors from the Original Sin Pool had reached the underside of the barrier, condensing into layers of dark blood mist.
"Let’s see if I can claim this Original Sin Pool!" He made his decision. Initially, his plan had been to use the Original Sin Pool as a diversion, drawing away the orderlies and wonderians.
"By now, the message has likely already been sent. Reinforcements should be on their way." Still, since he was already there, why not give it a try? If he succeeded in taking away the Original Sin Pool, it would be a double victory.
"Break!" Tianming shattered the final formation, plunging into the space where the Original Sin Pool resided.
"Uh?" The moment he entered, he was struck by an overwhelming sense of suffocation. It was a terrifying feeling, much like an ant having trespassed into a cemetery of gods.
His heart wildly pounded. The aura within this space was utterly horrifying.
First, the stench of blood was overwhelming.
Second, there were countless whispers! Although the voices were faint, they deafeningly roared in Tianming’s ears.
Gold, black, and blood-colored mist churned before him, taking the shape of colossal astral giants! They roared, bellowed, and valiantly fought. A single punch would shatter a star! A single slash would split a galaxy! A single step would crush the lands beneath them!
And all of their bodies radiated endless light, each resembling a miniature universe. Even as mere phantoms, they exuded an aura comparable to that of Huang Qi. Each speck of light on their bodies could engulf Tianming’s entire field of vision.
"Cosmic gods! Astral giants! The final path of life’s evolution!"
