Tianming looked around and noticed that the reverends and eminents of Myriadpath Valley seemed to afford quite a bit of respect to the maniverse-class stele. Many of them were Eminent Jiguang's seniors, who were both envious and impressed at her breakthrough. Even some eminents who were pushing the limit of their lifespans came over to personally witness her incipient breakthrough.

Eminent Jiguang wasn't nearly as fast as Tianming had been. However, she had already absorbed far more silver fish than other eminents, given that she’d completed the first two folds. The entire thing took a month. The number of surrounding onlookers had increased to around ten thousand. Those from the Three Exalted Houses and other august and sacred houses alone numbered in the thousands. They witnessed the rise of Eminent Jiguang.

After having spent some time in Myriadpath Valley, Tianming had gained a rough understanding of their structure. There were around a million myriadpath disciples in total, and they were maniverse disciples who had reached the Foundation stage. Myriadpath saints like Taihe also numbered around a million.

As for reverends like Lan Yun and Huang Daolie, they were far fewer in number. All of them, including those of the Three Exalted Houses, only numbered around fifty thousand. In normal mundi, not a single one had reverends; it was impossible for anyone there to cultivate to that level, not even reges mundi. Reverends ranged from fifth- to eighth-level foundationeers, after all. And less than five thousand were at the eighth level, even in Myriadpath Valley.

As for eminents, sacred houses with one eminent had around two thousand members. Houses with more than ten eminents and five thousand members were considered august houses. In the entire valley, eminents numbered only four thousand in total, ranging from ninth-level foundationeers to major-zenith foundationeers. Most of them were only at the ninth level, with their number close to three thousand. As for the remaining thousand plus, most were tenth-level foundationeers. It was said that only fifty or so people had reached the minor zenith, four-fifths of whom were in the Three Exalted Houses. The rest were strong figures that led the strongest august houses.

Putting eminents aside, even a thousand reverends would be enough to flatten the Million Mundi. It wasn’t an exaggeration to say that they were more than capable of ruling the astralscape of order. Any issue with their rule could only stem from internal conflict.

If Eminent Jiguang was truly able to make it to the top twenty in Myriadpath Valley at her young age, it would make her one of the youngest people in its history to reach such heights. What else could she be called but a goddess? Achieving the minor zenith alone had already put her above countless others. Only ten or so people were above her, among them the likes of Suishen Ranxing, Suishen Hongtian, and the old patriarch.

The reverends and eminents all seemed really stern as they watched Eminent Jiguang, but quite a lot of people from House Suishen and other parts of Myriadpath Valley loudly cheered. There were also those who looked really glum and only spoke in hushed voices. Most of them were members of House Yumo and specters who were worried about losing their former place in the valley.

As for the beastmasters of House Qitian, they weren't too bothered to see the specters experience shock after shock to their egos. That said, Eminent Jiguang's rise did add new pressure to them. Even if Myriadpath Valley was currently led by House Qitian, the valley lord would still eventually die. It was crucial to figure out who among the next generation would take over that mantle.

"I heard that Suishen Hongtian will be released soon, too, right?"

"It should be in the next few days."

"Jiguang broke through and that old crook's eldest son is going to finish serving his sentence. I bet he’s overjoyed."

"He's been complaining about how his daughter's refusal to marry was affecting her cultivation and preventing her from reaching the minor zenith, but Eminent Jiguang managed to achieve just that. There's no reason for her to be urged to marry anymore."

Some eminents even went over to congratulate the old patriarch.
