Chapter 465 - 432: Principal Park, Forever God
Chapter 465: Chapter 432: Principal Park, Forever God
Li Qian was profoundly shocked. He had known for some time that as he grew stronger and continued to explore, the true nature of this world would slowly reveal itself to him. The fog obscuring his vision would gradually dissipate.
As it turned out, he was right. He just hadn’t expected the truth to arrive so quickly, catching him somewhat off guard.
Of course, to be precise, what he was seeing wasn’t the whole truth of the world. At best, it was merely the tip of the iceberg.
Even after the vision transmitted by the remains of the powerful Rong tribesman faded, Li Qian couldn’t calm himself. The wretched cries of the canine Pet Beasts before their deaths, the agonized howls of the Rong People in their final moments—it all seemed to echo in his mind, refusing to fade.
’For that Rong ancestor to give his life just to pass this vision on to me... it must mean something incredibly important.’ Li Qian mused, rubbing his chin as he muttered to himself.
"The mass appearance of those pitch-black, humanoid monsters... that was probably the real reason for the Rong Tribe’s extinction." His brow furrowed as he kept thinking, and his mind suddenly raced, connecting the dots to many other things.
As for fulfilling the powerful Rong tribesman’s last wish—to find the descendants of the Rong People bearing a dog-head insignia on their chests, form a pact with them, and revive the Rong civilization—Li Qian simply kept it in mind. For now, he had no leads whatsoever.
He had no clue how to do it or where to even begin his search. For now, he could only play it by ear.
As he mulled this over, he scanned the now-empty top floor of the Stone Tower again, and something suddenly occurred to him.
He couldn’t help but recall the situation back in Chamber One of the Luoying City Earth Palace. As the memory replayed in his mind, a sudden idea struck him.
Once the idea took hold, Li Qian wasted no time. He abruptly turned his head, his gaze falling upon the Six-tailed Cat beside him.
’Six-tails, slowly now, no rush. Start channeling Energy into the floor.’ Li Qian issued the command to the Six-tailed Cat through his Telepathy Talent.
"Meeeoow!" Though a little confused by Li Qian’s command, the Six-tailed Cat didn’t hesitate. It let out a cry in response and quickly got to work.
Then, it began to channel Energy into the floor!
It was cautious, channeling only a small amount of Energy.
What Li Qian was doing was not without risk.
If his theory was wrong, the ancient flagstones on the top floor of this stone building would surely be unable to withstand the infusion of Energy.
They would collapse instantly.
It was even possible that the entire stone building would come crashing down.
But Li Qian knew that even if the entire building collapsed, he himself would be fine.
This was another reason he dared to risk the experiment.
Gradually, as it continued to channel Energy, the Six-tailed Cat’s body began to emit a soft glow.
The halo of light gradually spread, illuminating every corner of the top floor. Li Qian’s expression remained serious and unchanged as he focused his gaze intently.
"There really is one!" The Energy infusion continued for about two minutes. Throughout the process, Li Qian watched intently without blinking. Soon, a look of astonishment spread across his face as he cried out in surprise.
A surge of joy welled up inside him as he watched the Array Map gradually materialize on the flagstone floor.
A moment ago, Li Qian had acted on a hunch, wanting to see if this floor, like Chamber One in the Luoying City Earth Palace, also concealed a Sealing Array.
This experiment proved that one truly did exist.
Spurred on by the discovery, Li Qian used his Telepathy Talent to command the Six-tailed Cat to continue its slow and steady infusion of Energy.
As more Energy flowed into it, the Array etched into the floor became increasingly distinct.
Finally, at a certain point, it seemed to reach a critical threshold, and the light from the Array Map completely stabilized.
Then, right before Li Qian’s eyes, a Dimensional Rift nearly identical in size and shape to the one in Chamber One slowly materialized.
’I wonder where this Dimensional Rift leads?’ Li Qian muttered to himself, watching the rift slowly take form.
After observing for a moment and seeing no Extraordinary Creatures emerge from within, Li Qian no longer hesitated. Along with his two Pet Beasts, he stepped directly into the Dimensional Rift.
In an instant, light and shadow warped, and the world turned upside down...
SPLASH!
A sudden chill shot through him. As his limbs flailed, Li Qian quickly realized he had fallen into water.
Feeling the currents swirling around him, Li Qian was not alarmed but delighted.
Before Li Qian could even give a command, the Tidal Sea Spirit took control of the surrounding currents, lifting him up toward the surface.
With the Tidal Sea Spirit by his side, he wasn’t worried in the slightest.
His ascent was swift. About three minutes later, with a loud SPLASH, Li Qian’s body broke through the surface of the water.
Held aloft by a surging current, Li Qian found himself standing on the surface of the water.
He looked around, taking in his new surroundings.
It was a small lake—well, to be more precise, a small pond.
