These places were dangerous, but not excessively so.
Beyond that, the greatest danger within the Shallow Elemental Planes was the unstable rifts that opened at random.
Under normal circumstances, these unstable rifts didn’t last very long.
They opened primarily due to the influence of Energy Tides from the Deep Elemental Planes.
Of course, if one understood some of the underlying patterns, it was possible to manipulate the circumstances to either hasten or delay their appearance.
The previous Undead tide within the Shallow Elemental Plane governed by Kansai Beast Taming University—specifically, in the region around Mo Yuan City—had occurred precisely because a Cult Organization had exploited this very principle.

The atmosphere was different from the trip between Yuntian City and White Elephant City. On this leg of the journey, from White Elephant City to Feihua City, the Adventurers aboard the Flying Ship were clearly more animated.
