Chapter 1421

Chapter 1421: Personal Plane (Part 2)

Saleen looked at the huge number dragon bones, finding it a pity that the quality of those bones were reduced to the point of, while capable of staying intact, were no longer of much use, by the ravages of time.

Such materials would have only proved useful to death mages. While Daniel’s hands were getting itchy, he dared not take any of them, for fear of offending the Winged Skull. The Winged Skull walked with Saleen and pointed at several piles of dragon bones, then saying to Daniel, “When we leave this place, you can have those.”

Death mages loved rotten bones to bits. It was especially so in that plane, where the bones were hardly affected in ways, other than purely having absorbed huge amount of deathly powers. There were no death magic materials to be found on Myers Mainland that would have been able to compare with those bones found there.

Daniel was perceptive enough to not touch anything in the graveyard. He knew very well that what the Winged Skull pointed were not really important ones and those dragons had not been too powerful when they were alive.

The Winged Skull wanted to have their 12 jade skeletons become gods. Some of them would have succeeded while others would have failed. Regardless, those jade skeletons would have needed to absorb boundless energy in order to become gods. Those bones made bad materials of crafting equipment, but the best there was for refining energies required by spirits.

Forget it. This plane is already the Winged Skull’s. I could count myself lucky if the pile of bones would just let me summon spirits from here.

After Daniel made up his mind, he stopped looking around and took the time to have his dead soul flame absorb the energies in that plane instead. That plane was a huge one. Even if Daniel were to become a level 13 pseudogod, it would still have been impossible for him to suck the plane dry of deathly energies.

Rafel felt rather uncomfortable with the place. The plane was filled with the aura of death, and in the midst of such aura, there seemed to be signs of gods perishing.

Such signs felt triggering to angels, and such unpleasant triggers were vivid ones.

Rafel choked down on her sadness and pointed to the right, saying, “Go there. You’ll find you’re after.”

She did not even bother to address Saleen with some sort of honorific or pronoun. The moment made Rafel feel as if she had been thrown back hundreds of thousands of years into the past, the time where the gods were still around.

“What is that?” Daniel pointed a thousand meter-tall bone when they were still kilometers away from the object. He knew what it actually was, but he asked with a doubtful tone regardless.

He was not the only one finding it unbelievable, as Saleen shared the sentiment.

That was the bone remains of a dragon god. When a dragon god perished, the bones of the dragon god—devoid of a divine persona to begin with—would have been like a huge space, which would have survived as long as the crystal wall system held—forever.

While the Floating City was powerful, it was limited to moving around on Myers Mainland. The dragon god’s bones however, were capable of traversing planes and perform space jumps.

Such powerful materials, even if they were only from a level 15 dragon god, would have had qualities eclipsing that of remains of level 17 gods.

Saleen remained silent for quite a while and did not continue to move forward. He then said to the Winged Skull, “I’ve done calculations with astrology regarding the dragon god remains. That thing perished trying to protect the plane.”

“Master, so you mean…”

“This plane would be yours from here on out. I’d be taking the dragon god remains with me. Don’t tear the graveyard apart. This place would be off-limits to the spirits in the future, and only you would be allowed in here.”

“Understood.” The Winged Skull was able to tell from the shift in tone in the way Saleen spoke, that he had came to realize things.

There were no dynasties capable of lasting forever. Regardless of how glorious the plane had once been, how great the dragon god had once been, everything would have been returned to the earth eventually. The dragon god remains would have been useful to Saleen for crafting a warship capable of traversing planes.

Saleen could have searched over 1000 planes, and there would still been no guarantee that he would have found such a thing.

The chance was not to be missed, as there might not have been another.

Saleen walked up and gestured for the others to stay behind. He then summoned the weapon spirit of the magic amplifier, in order to have the weapon spirit put the remains away into the magic amplifier’s space.

There was no way Saleen would have been able to put something that big away on his own.

The dragon god remains were far larger than the Ancient warship. The bone remains were pitch black and there seemed to be deathly powers all over it. However, the internal space of the dragon god remains was extremely huge. Every single bone was like a space equipment in themselves.

The dragon gods have once relied on such powers to bring dragon warriors with them to fight the gods and lay siege to divine kingdoms.

Saleen swore in secret deep down, “Lord dragon god, there shall be a day where I would use your bone remains to craft a void warship. I shall only use it to attack divine kingdoms and would absolutely never use it to pillage the dragon plane. Please forgive my blasphemous actions to your remains, for I need power now more than anything else.”

Saleen put the dragon god remains away and found jade colors on the ground where the remains rested. That was the result of the remains having been around for hundreds of millions of years.

The power of the earth had gathered and kept the protective god of the plane up.

Saleen then summoned the Violet Angel and had it construct a tower there. The jade-like ground shall be made into the core coordinates of the plane. Saleen took out the remains of the skeletal dragon, thought for a moment before putting it into a piece of dimension stone. He then wrapped the dimension stone in Water Flame, sending it thousands of meters deep into the ground.

By doing so, it prevented the remains of the skeletal dragon from resurrecting by absorbing the powers of the plane through the dimension, regardless of how powerful it would have been.

When someone among the jade skeletons became greater gods, only then would Saleen release the skeleton dragon’s remains. The skeleton dragon had thought it out well. If Saleen were to just drop it around the parts, even a tiny wisp of soul flame remaining would have enabled the skeletal dragon to resurrect, becoming even more powerful.

That skeletal dragon had probably been a level 15 being when it was still alive. If it were to resurrect, not even the Winged Skull as they were would have been able to keep it contained.

Saleen took out some bone crystals of the giants when he saw the Violet Angel at work, building the tower. He then crafted a sturdy magic array with the crystals, sealing the area within several kilometers radius up. Anyone who tried to get near would have triggered the lightning magic array, sounding magic alarms.

The lightning magic array could only be destroyed using sheer brute force and unable to pass in secret.

Saleen began to measure the coordinates in detail, but he did not build an inter-dimension teleportation portal. That plane shall be made the Winged Skull’s personal plane.

Judging from the thick deathly power permeating the plane, it would have taken less than 100 years to give birth to countless powerful spirits, becoming a place where the Winged Skull summon their troops.

The golden skeletons crafted by the Winged Skull would have become something like kings, ruling over the land. Furthermore, the kings would not have fought each for territory or power, making that place possibly the most serene piece of land there was.

Spirits played nice with each other after all.

Juno emerged from the magic amplifier and sniffed with all its might, saying, “Master, there are treasures around here!”

“Treasure?”

“About 1200 kilometers eastward.”

The weapon spirit of the magic amplifier berated it, “There is not even a sun around here. How could you even tell directions in this place?”

Juno would not have getting beaten up with Saleen around. It then smirked and replied, “Directions are determined using magnetism of the earth. They have nothing whatsoever to do with the sun.”

The weapon spirit of the magic amplifier felt that it had lost face, yet it dared not beat up another weapon spirit in front of Saleen, so it simply twisted logic and said, “The sun is the most violent planet in the universe. Its fire elemental powers would be strong enough to change the land’s magnetism!”

“That’s bullsh**. I have roamed the universe with my former master and I have seen planets that are more violent the sun.” Juno was experienced enough to be convinced by what the weapon spirit of the magic amplifier was capable of saying.

“You dare speak of your former master!” The weapon spirit of the magic amplifier was unable to win according to logic, so it threw personal attacks at Juno instead.

“Why wouldn’t I? My former master was good and Master Saleen here is good as well. Well, I’m not like you, who had once fought against master. By the way, you’ve also escaped from fighting when we were fighting the skeletal dragon back there. You almost ended up getting the Violet Angel killed.” Juno was clever enough to know how to make friends.

The weapon spirit of the magic amplifier was at a loss for words, and it was only then that he remembered that Saleen had yet to interrogate it for what it last did.

It was not a good thing that Saleen did not bother saying anything. The temperament of its master said that he would have definitely remembered. But then again, the weapon spirit was not a match for the skeletal dragon, and it would have simply died fighting the beast head on.

“Master…”

The weapon spirit of the magic amplifier was only able to utter a single word, before feeling an intense headache and dropped to the ground. It was Saleen controlling the broken jade. He invoked lightning in the weapon spirit’s divine fire, which contained the weapon spirit’s soul.

“I’ve almost forgotten that this thing almost got us all killed because it ran away from the fight, if you hadn’t mentioned it,” Saleen looked at the weapon spirit of the magic amplifier wiggling on the ground with cold eyes.

The weapon spirit of the magic amplifier was terrified. There were quite a number of level 13 beings at Saleen’s side. If it were to slack off, it would have been easy for Saleen to disintegrate and feed it to something else after all.

“You made up your mind?” Saleen saw what he wanted to see from the eyes of the weapon spirit of the magic amplifier.

That thing had thought itself indispensible. It was worth noting that Saleen built the magic amplifier personally. It would have worked even without a weapon spirit, and the presence of a weapon spirit simply made the device easier to use and manage, making it so that Saleen did not need to split his attention to control it during battle.

“I have indeed.” The weapon spirit of the magic amplifier stayed on the ground, not daring to get up.

“That shall be your first offense as well as your last.” Saleen finished and did not bother with that thing who feared the strong yet bullied the weak. He turned around and summoned the Violet Angel.

The Violet Angel shot out as quickly as possible. Saleen took out the axe-shaped godly item acquired from the skeletal dragon and threw it to the Violet Angel, saying, “You did well last time. Use this thing to repair your body.”

The Violet Angel was elated. While the axe was damaged, but it was still made of materials fit for crafting godly items after all. If it were to gobble it up, it would not only have enabled it to repair all damaged parts, but would have also allowed it to master new skills.

“Thank you, master,” the Violet Angel quickly expanded his body to the height over 30 meters and took the axe, swallowing it.

The weapon spirit of the magic amplifier was only able feel envious, or even jealous. If it had known that one such high quality item would have been given as a reward, there would have been no way it would have ran away back then.

Rafel watched and shook her head. The Violet Angel’s background made it so that it could have never become the strongest in any way. It had insufficient intelligence, which would have only made advancing increasingly difficult at later stages. A level 13 powerful being would have been able to absorb something like and sprung to level 14 right away.

The Violet Angel would have only been able to repair its body using one such thing. She deemed Saleen was being wasteful with his investment.
