Qin Jiao took the résumés and glanced at them, raising an eyebrow.
Luan Wei said, "That’s right. They’re both fellow alumni. One of them was an upperclassman of yours, and the other was your classmate."

Qin Jiao looked up at Luan Wei. "What do you think of them? Give me your objective assessment."
Luan Wei pushed up her glasses. "Li Man graduated a year ago and has work experience. Her fundamental skills are solid, and she has the strongest overall competence of all the applicants. However, during my conversation with her, I got the feeling that she’s a bit headstrong in her words and actions, which could easily cause problems with major projects. Qin Jiao raised an eyebrow again.

In a sense, both of the women standing before her were Qin Jiao’s love rivals. If Luan Wei knew about their tangled history, she probably would have sent them both packing immediately.
It was highly inappropriate to keep someone with such a complicated history with the boss at the company.
Still, it was a shame. They were, after all, top students from North City University.
Qin Jiao had her assistant pour each of them a glass of warm water, then said with a smile, "I hear you’re both very interested in this position. May I ask why you chose it? Li Man, why don’t you go first?"
