After a thorough check, Jon finally let out a sigh of relief.
Reya wasn’t actually injured. She had fainted purely from exhaustion.
That’s right, exhaustion.
Just like in his first battle with the Great Snow Fox after arriving in this world, Reya had also exhausted all her strength fighting the Rock Scorpion, which caused her to pass out.
As he turned to look at the Rock Scorpion corpse, which had been hacked to pieces, and the potion residue splattered on the surrounding rock walls, he could roughly piece together what had happened.
A Rock Scorpion, drawn by the corpse of its own kind, had stumbled into their hiding spot and encountered a panicked Reya.

While the effects of the Blood Exhaustion Potion were still active, he moved with lightning speed to slaughter every last Rock Scorpion in the mine. He then dragged the Scorpion Mother’s corpse back to the shallow area where he and Reya had first been to rest and regroup.
Once the potion wore off, the weakness from the loss of "temporary Power" and the pain from the Poison damage washed over him all at once, making Jon unwilling to even lift a finger.
Fortunately, thanks to the combined healing effects of the Earth’s Blood and Chu Blood Grass Essence, his condition wasn’t poor enough to leave him completely listless. He still had enough strength to butcher the Scorpion Mother’s corpse.

And now, because this Scorpion Mother had consumed the Earth’s Blood and transformed from a Silver Scorpion into a Golden Scorpion, the value of the materials it yielded had reached a whole new level!
A single glance at the materials stripped from its body was proof enough!

Even after subtracting the 3,200 points he’d soon need to reach level 5 Warrior Apprentice, he would still have 4,648 points left over—more than enough to get a few things done.
Leveling up his Mage Apprentice class or upgrading some of his Skills—both were excellent options!
