Chapter 411 - 421: Great Changes in the Space
Chapter 411: Chapter 421: Great Changes in the Space
After he finished speaking, Andrew Shaw immediately changed the subject. "Let’s go, let’s go. Dawn is breaking, time to get some sleep!"
"This is the best time to sleep. Once noon hits, it’ll be too hot to get any rest at all. And if we don’t sleep now, we won’t have the energy to get anything done tonight."
Felix Lawrence was easily distracted, and the two of them headed outside, chatting and laughing as they went.
In the distance, Andrew Shaw’s voice, growing bolder, could be heard. "Mr. Lawrence, say... can’t we really have a barbecue here? I’m already five or six years old and I’ve never even tasted what barbecue is like! Can’t you grant me this little wish?"
"Get outta here! Barbecue? In all my years, I haven’t touched the stuff. Forget meat, we don’t even have vegetables! Even the charcoal for the grill is scarce. You tell me, which one of those isn’t a precious resource? Where do you expect me to get any of it?"
"Oh, come on, Lawrence! You’re so capable, I’m sure you can figure something out. Can’t you just grant me this one tiny wish?"
"Get lost, you little brat! You’re a greedy little squirt, aren’t you? Besides, you’ve never even eaten it, so how would you know what it tastes like? Keep dreaming! I’d like some myself!"
"I’ve never eaten it, but I’ve smelled it before. It was so fragrant!"
Their voices gradually faded into the distance.
Andrew Shaw had been spending a lot of time with the group and had grown comfortable with them. As a result, he was much more casual than he used to be.
Even Felix Lawrence knew the little guy was sharp and couldn’t be treated like an ordinary child.
Their interactions were always relaxed and informal.
Meanwhile, after entering her space, Stella Sterling paid no attention to their situation. In fact, she wasn’t thinking about them at all.
The moment she entered, her gaze was completely captivated by the space, her eyes wide with utter shock.
The entire space was filled with a swirling mist, yet Stella Sterling could see everything within it with perfect clarity.
She discovered that, aside from her storage area, the rest of the space was undergoing tremendous changes.
It wasn’t just the redemption and planting areas; the region that had previously manifested to resemble the real world was also in a state of constant flux.
She could sense that in the redemption area, her small house had expanded several times over, and its interior was changing as well.
It was no longer just a single house with only a table inside; new things were continuously appearing.
It had taken the shape of a villa, and inside, many modern amenities had appeared. As Stella Sterling watched, her expression grew complicated.
The villa’s design, the layout of the rooms—it was all identical to the small villa she had at the base.
The only difference was that the furniture and appliances were even more complete than in her house at the base.
Additionally, a large screen had appeared in the villa’s living room.
However, the screen was currently black, so Stella Sterling couldn’t tell what it was for. ’I can test it later!’
Then, she noticed the redemption area that used to be next to the house had vanished, seemingly integrated into the villa itself.
It wasn’t just this area. Over in the planting zone, she could feel the crops she had planted a while ago maturing at a rapid pace.
Then, without her needing to mentally command the harvest, the matured crops automatically flew out of the ground and soared in neat rows toward her storage area.
Stella Sterling then watched as wave after wave of crops flew back and forth before her, just like a scene from a fantasy epic.
Her initial shock slowly gave way to a sense of calm.
The space could now manage the planting area automatically. Stella Sterling wasn’t surprised by this; she had long known that the more her space evolved, the more comprehensive its abilities would become.
This new capability meant she no longer had to do everything by hand, which was one of the benefits of the evolution.
Moreover, Stella Sterling could sense that the crops from the planting area were brimming with vibrant life force and even contained a special kind of energy.
The crops in the planting area now matured even faster, and the total cultivable land had expanded several-fold.
In addition, Stella Sterling discovered a new, empty plot of land there that looked different from the rest.
A glint appeared in her eyes. ’Looks like the changes to the space are huge this time. So many new things have appeared.’
’Just exploring all these new additions will probably take quite some time.’
’I won’t be bored for the foreseeable future.’
Finally, she turned her gaze outward from this core area to the manifested world beyond.
This manifested world was even more vast. Stella Sterling looked out over a boundless landscape. She saw that in addition to the mountains, rivers, and blue skies with white clouds, many new things had appeared.
At the same time, within that manifested world, the number of animals had also increased.
They flew through the sky, swam in the water, and ran through the mountain forests, infusing the world with so much vitality that it looked more and more like a real place.
In fact, Stella Sterling felt that it had already become a real world—one that simply existed within her space, unseen and untouched by anyone else.
Just then, something caught Stella Sterling’s eye. It was running down from a mountain in that world.
And it was heading right for her.
The thing moved faster and faster, getting closer and closer to her.
Soon, she saw it clearly. It was a wild boar—
It must have spotted her as well, because it charged, ready to attack!
This was the first time something like this had happened, and a flash of surprise crossed Stella Sterling’s eyes.
The world evolved by her space had completely and utterly become real.
Previously, Stella Sterling had captured many animals from the outside world and raised them here.
But those were ones she had brought in herself, not ones evolved by the space.
But this wild boar was different. It hadn’t existed before; it had been wholly manifested by the space.
But now, it had become a real, tangible creature—and an aggressive one at that, charging right at her.
After a moment of shock, Stella Sterling composed herself.
The boar was closing in, charging menacingly as if it intended to ram her to death.
’I can be shocked later. Right now, I need to deal with this boar!’
