"You’re right, you’re right. Don’t be angry, Ningning. We’ll just ignore her. Come on, let’s go. I’ll take you over. The entrance is a little narrow, so everyone line up."
Everyone scrambled to form an orderly line, not daring to make a peep at a time like this.

The few team members behind Zhuang Lei gave Xu Yu an unreadable look before glancing back at Zhuang Lei.
"Sorry, Captain. We originally wanted to follow you, but now..."

The group ran over to Zhuang Jia and Luo Yanan and quietly joined the back of the line.
"Zhuang Jia," Zhuang Lei called out.
"Brother," Zhuang Jia said with a sigh, shaking her head. "Let’s just leave it at this. We should split up the team."
"Zhuang Jia, what do you mean? You really want to dissolve the team with your own brother?" Zhuang Lei’s face was thunderous, veins popping on his forehead.
Xu Yu started to panic. She followed Zhuang Lei, still holding Lin Yiyi. "Zhuang Jia, don’t be angry with your brother. He’s your own flesh and blood, how can you do this to him?"
"Shut your mouth, you bitch," Zhuang Jia sneered. "Who gave you the right to speak? I’ve been putting up with your bullshit for over a year! Thank fuck I can finally be done with you. We’re finally free."
Luo Yanan glanced at Zhuang Lei’s furious face and quickly stepped forward to grab his wife’s hand. "Jia."
"You stay out of this! I’ve had more than enough of her. In the past, I let things go for my brother’s sake. She’s a ’white lotus’... no, that’s not it! She’s a ’green tea’ Holy Mother bitch."
"How can someone as disgusting as you even exist? It was bad enough that you were always taking our team’s resources to play the generous, kindhearted benefactor everywhere. But since it was supposedly ’a good deed to help people,’ the guys didn’t argue with you. I had to hold my own husband back, and we just gritted our teeth and endured it!"

Xie Ning’s group paused, and everyone turned to watch the argument.
The fight was just too good. Unable to resist, they all stopped in their tracks, entering full-on spectator mode amid the swirling sand.
When Gu Chen turned his head, he saw one of his subordinates making strange faces and wiggling his eyebrows at him.
"Is your eye having a seizure?" Gu Chen shot back, his face expressionless.
"Captain, she was worried about you, wasn’t she?" ’Damn, the captain’s lady is amazing!’

The corners of Gu Chen’s mouth quirked up. He couldn’t help but shoot his subordinate a smug look, followed by a glare that clearly said, "Get lost."
Meanwhile, Zhuang Lei was so furious he looked like smoke was about to pour from his ears.
He was a man who had always cared deeply about his pride. To have the woman under his protection be viciously cursed out by his own sister—worse than a dog—in front of so many outsiders made him even more furious than Xu Yu herself.

Luo Yanan couldn’t pull his wife back in time. He could only look at her helplessly before turning to Zhuang Lei with a nod. "Brother, maybe this is for the best. After we split up, you and Xu Yu can live your lives however you want. No one will have to accommodate anyone else. It’ll be better this way."
