Chapter 1992: Chapter 665: Major Event Preview—Dream Shattered Layer and Skr’s Gold Treasure! (3)
Even the weather around the world has become much more mild.
The survivors also had a rare few days of good life.
However, on the fourth morning, a system prompt appeared.
[Attention all survivors, you have passed the 13th day of the chaos period. Next, the weather around the world will continue to return to its usual frequency.]
[Snowstorms will intensify and may occasionally be accompanied by heavenly calamities, please be prepared to respond.]
[Additionally, the system will launch two minor activities in sixty days: ’Dream Fragment Layers’ and ’Golden Skaven’s Treasure’]
...
...
[Dream Fragment Layers: A dream entrance will appear next to the bonfire in each survivor’s territory, where you can enter the Dream Fragment Layers through the entrance.]
[Dream Fragment Layers are composed of a hundred levels, each with extremely vast maps, together with various puzzles and enemies from the dream.]
[Survivors need to continuously solve puzzles, defeat enemies, and find the dream exit within the required time.]
[Due to the vast size of this map, a regional challenge mode will be enabled.]
[All Survivor Lords of the major regions will enter the same map, working together to find the dream exit.]
[The region that first finds the dream exit will receive abundant mysterious rewards.]
[Please note! Anything can happen in the Dream Fragment Layers. Here, not only strong power is needed, but also extraordinary wisdom and keen insight.]
(Detailed challenge rules and rewards will be announced on the day Dream Fragment Layers opens.)
...
...
When the first system prompt ended, the world chat channel boiled over again!
"Whoa! Dream Fragment Layers, and it’s challenging as a whole region. Isn’t this the so-called minor activity by the system?!"
"It’s really outrageous. In a region, there are at least hundreds of thousands of lords, all entering together. It’s hard to imagine how big this Dream Fragment Layers could be!"
"Brothers, I saw the system say which region finds the dream exit first will get a reward for the whole region. This mechanism seems a bit unfair?"
This person’s comment elicited agreement from many survivors.
"Exactly, those regions with top strongmen will lead the whole region to clear it quickly?"
"With him there, won’t they just sweep up all the rewards in Dream Fragment Layers?"
It was clear that the person they referred to was Cao Xing.
As the only Lord in all servers confirmed to have a Legendary Strongman, and not just one Legendary.
If he acts, then clearly other regions have no chance.
However, another group of survivors held different opinions.
"What are you thinking? Didn’t you see what the system said later? In Dream Fragment Layers, power doesn’t represent everything. You need wisdom and observation to pass!"
"Indeed, we in Country A are famous worldwide for our wisdom and strategy! Whatever puzzle is just a piece of cake for us!"
"No matter how strong Cao Xing is, he can’t solve all the puzzles alone."
"It seems the Eagle Country’s think tank should also act. This time in Dream Fragment Layers, strive to clear it at the fastest speed!"
For a while, survivors from many regions began to ready themselves.
They all wanted to outperform Hua Country’s survivors and Cao Xing in the Dream Fragment Layers event!
Just then, the second segment of system prompt appeared.
[Attention survivors! Starting now, the second event rule is published: Golden Skaven’s Treasure]
[Sixty-one days later, which is the second day of Dream Fragment Layers opening, a small number of ’Golden Skaven’ will be randomly refreshed in various map areas.]
[Golden Skaven’s pockets carry various precious treasures and coins. After defeating it, some of its possessions will fall from its pocket.]
[If killed, some special items will be acquired.]
[If Survivor Lords discover a ’Golden Skaven’ in the wild, they can choose to announce the location on the map and receive one Silver Treasure Chest as a reward, or choose to fight alone.]
[Please note! The monsters in this event are difficult. Golden Skaven are Level 70 Leaders~Commander Creatures, with a probability of Dominator-level Golden Mouse King appearing, please be cautious.]
...
When the two system prompts ended, regions once again sparked enthusiastic discussions.
Even Cao Xing was somewhat surprised.
"Oh? Dream Fragment Layers, and Golden Skaven."
"These two events are quite interesting..."
The former [Dream Fragment Layers] is needless to say. Although the system says it’s a minor activity, everyone knows it is definitely a large-scale event.
After all, all server survivors participate, and divided by regions, the scale and difficulty are conceivable.
As for the latter ’Golden Skaven’, it sounds similar to the previous ’Zhuoma’s Claw’ event.
Only the level of the monsters is somewhat higher.
Cao Xing’s lips curled into an interested smile, "Looks like the system certainly won’t let survivors relax."
"Right after Blood Chaos expansion ended, these two events are launched."
"Don’t know what rewards will be this time?"
A few expectations arose in his heart.
However, since the system hasn’t published, everyone doesn’t know for now.
Just then, two consecutive visit requests interrupted Cao Xing’s train of thought.
[Black Lion Commerce: Hilton requests to visit your territory, do you agree?]
[Woodpecker Commerce: Jes requests to visit your territory, do you agree?]
...
Seeing these prompts, a smile appeared on Cao Xing’s face.
"These two have finally come."
He clicked ’Agree’ on all, then walked out of Lord Castle.
At the same time, outside the territory in the snow, two teams of carriages slowly approached the city gate.
"Clip-clop... Clip-clop..."
Beside each convoy, a group of guard teams matched footsteps, appearing quite imposing.
Jes and Hilton walked side by side, casting eyes full of hostility at each other.
Woodpecker Commerce’s Jes angrily said, "Hilton, why do you always haunt me like a ghost? I finally visit Lord Cao Xing, and you’re tagging along!"
"Haha... I want to ask you the same, Jes!"
Hilton sneered, with disdain in his tone, "Let me tell you, I was personally messaged and invited by Lord Cao Xing!"
"Aren’t you the one following behind me like a tag-along!"
Jes was taken aback, then responded, "What? I was also invited by Lord Cao Xing!"
