Lin Mo smiled and stood up to greet them.
"Alton, how have you been?"
"Haha, pretty good."
Alton smiled and bumped fists with him. "I haven’t been doing many quests, but the city’s policies have been favorable lately. I can earn a decent amount just killing Goblins outside the city every now and then. I had a go at it during the Goblin siege a few days ago, too, but I couldn’t make as big of a contribution as you did."
"Come, sit over here."
Lin Mo led them to the table next to the Cyan Orchid Squad and began the introductions. "These are my friends and former teammates. This is Captain Alton, along with Carson, Solan, Rick, and... uh, and Alton’s daughter, Bena."
"And my fiancée,"
Solan added with a grin, stepping forward to take Bena’s hand.
A blush crept onto Bena’s face, and she shyly lowered her head.
Alton’s expression immediately darkened, but he just snorted softly and said nothing.
"It’s a pleasure to meet you."
Landon greeted them with a smile. "If you’re friends of Lin Mo’s, then you’re friends of ours."
"Well said!" Huck chimed in from the side. "We should get together to chat and drink more often."
The atmosphere in the Association was warm and friendly, and soon it was time for Lena to get off work.
And so, the large, boisterous group made their way to the Richard Grand Hotel in Silver Stream City.
Lin Mo was no longer short on money for meals. With a grand wave of his hand, he had the hotel serve its finest dishes, including several made with Magic Beast Meat.
Of course, this was only meat from Elite Level Demons. Lord Level meat was generally unavailable in the hotels of a small city like Silver Stream City; they couldn’t afford the cost, and very few patrons could afford to order it.
Even so, these dishes were still incredibly expensive.
The meal ended up costing Lin Mo forty to fifty Gold Coins.
However, he had just earned 5,710 Gold Coins from the recent siege quest, so his net worth was now over 6,000 Gold. Splurging on a meal like this every once in a while was no big deal.
It was a celebratory banquet, after all, and a good meal had to be accompanied by drinks.
The men’s cups clinked as they exchanged toasts, and among the girls, Ali, Lena, and Bena all drank a fair amount of fruit wine.
Only Feney, who almost never drank, stuck out her tongue after a small sip of the fruit wine, clearly not used to the taste.
To Lin Mo’s surprise, Shefilya was drinking too.

Once everyone had eaten and drunk their fill, they parted ways. Lin Mo and his group escorted Feney back to the City Lord’s Mansion before returning to their own manor.
Everyone had had a lot to drink, so they all quickly returned to their rooms to wash up and head to bed.
Ali didn’t come for a "night raid" either. ’Looks like it’ll be a peaceful night.’
Lin Mo dried his hair, changed into his pajamas, and lay down on his bed, ready to sleep.
Just then, however, a sudden knock came from the door.

’But doesn’t she usually just "barge" right in? Why is she being so polite today after having a few drinks?’
As he thought this, he turned his head and saw Shefilya, dressed in a maid’s uniform. She closed the door behind her, locked it, and then slowly began to walk toward his bed.
Her face was as expressionless as ever, but her eyes held a hint of eagerness.
Lin Mo gulped. His Qi and Blood began to circulate unconsciously, clearing his mind a little.
