Chapter 1603: Li Luo's First Battle with a King

As Li Luo's foot heavily stepped on the Enchanting Fox King's face, everyone from the Xia Kingdom on the walls were watching this. The terrifying implications of this caused their minds to turn blank. Whether it was the plotting First Princess, or the composed Vice principal Su Xin, or the calm Qin Zhenjiang, all of their usual emotions were now thrown out the window.

They were previously in great despair and terror due to the sheer number of Other Kings but this sight was even more shocking than that! Even Yu Hongxi with her unique background as the Xia Kingdom's Golden Dragon Bank President couldn't help but to be lost in her own thoughts. As she glanced at the large pit that was created by the fight, she could see the shadow of Li Taixuan in that young figure which gave off a majestic aura. That said, when compared to Li Taixuan, Li Luo seemed much more ferocious. A thoughtful look appeared on Yu Hongxi. This brat Li Luo was indeed a dragon amongst men. With his talent and foundation, it would be difficult to find anyone who would be his match within the Heavenly Emperor powers in the inner divine continent. It was no wonder why her daughter was so attracted to him. "Damn it all! He's so cool I could cry!" Yu Lang struck his chest in frustration as he stamped his feet. The actions of his friend shocked him so much that his eyeballs were popping out of his socket. He was riddled with all sorts of complicated feelings as he screamed in excitement. "I can't take it! If he continues to be so cool, how can I maintain my passion for Doudou?"

Meanwhile Bai Doudou who was still beside him, could no longer take his crap. She gritted her teeth angrily as she kicked him from behind as her face turned beet red, "Shut up!"

Yu Lang could only cover his mouth in pain as he stopped his screaming and howling.

Bai Doudou wanted to continue yelling at him but she noticed the sparkling tears pooling up in the fellows eyes and she swallowed her words. She knew that he was simply overstimulated by the unbelievable scene before him and could only vent his emotions in such an exaggerated way. After all, this perilous disaster had brought them to the brink of death multiple times over these years, causing an immense amount of pressure to build up on everyone present. Yu Lang as the Devil Hunting Squad's commander toed the line between life and death whenever he led his team. Every mission they took on would inevitably be filled with casualties and although he seemed casual and lackadaisical in his daily life, Bai Doudou as someone who was always beside him knew of his inner struggles. He often blamed himself for being powerless and felt that it was his lack of ability that caused his squadmates' deaths. Many of the tombstones in the cemetery behind Astral Sage College were erected by Yu Lang himself as they were all once his squadmates.

It was because he had gone through so much pain and suffering that the hope that Li Luo represented caused him to lose control.

Bai Doudou sighed in her heart as she held Yu Lang's rough hands, no longer saying anything but quietly accompanying him. Yu Lang, we've managed to survive the most difficult of times and now things can only go up from here. ...

"You guys have been having a lot of fun in my hometown these few years right?" Meanwhile Li Luo's expression was one filled with unbridled arrogance. The Heavenly Dragon formation's strength was too immense and this aroused the murderous spirit contained in his bloodline, causing him to act inconsistently with how he usually did.

Even so, he did not reject these emotions. The land of the Xia Kingdom held a special place in his heart and the Other Disaster had defiled its sanctity.

Thus Li Luo was venting the years of accumulated resentment in his heart.

The Enchanting Fox King was the perfect target for that. He stomped the Enchanting Fox King's face yet again, with strength capable of flattening mountains as trails of black blood flooded down the sides of the latter's face. Si Si.

The Enchanting Fox King was clearly stunned by Li Luo's attacks but the pain lancing through her face was like a wake up call, causing her originally blood red eyes to be filled with endless rage and murderous intent.

She couldn't believe how an Other King would be literally crushed underfoot by a sixth-grade Transcendent! A hoarse screech came from her mouth as countless black appendages appeared from the cracks on her body, each containing a vicious and corrosive aura as it attempted to entangle Li Luo. It was so toxic that if a ninth-grade Pinnacle Duke were to come into contact with it, their Duke Bergfrieds would instantly be contaminated by it, before eroding into dust.

"You still dare to resist?" The grim smile on Li Luo's face became even more intense as the Hundred Battles Platemail began to shine brilliantly whilst a violet gold flame appeared, wrapping around the entirety of the armor which burned all of the black appendages into dust.

Weng!

After which, the hammer and spear in his hands began to radiate a terrifying power as he struck at the Enchanting Fox King beneath him. The sheer force caused crevices to open up all around them. Li Luo's flurry of attacks rained down upon the Enchanting Fox King's body. In just a short moment, her body was torn into pieces. When the ferocity in his eyes faded slightly, he saw that the Enchanting Fox King had been turned into black pulp but these remnants were still squirming on the ground.

"Are you dead yet?" Li Luo took in two deep breaths. The King stage power of the Heavenly Dragon formation was too overbearing and just tapping into it caused him to turn into a vengeful demon.

As he looked around him, the figure of the Enchanting Fox King had already vanished whilst the surrounding environment of mountains and rivers had been completely devastated, reshaped into a wasteland filled with enormous cracks that extended endlessly downwards.

Had the Enchanting Fox King been clubbed to death?

"Becareful Li Luo. So long as a King's source origin has not been extinguished, even if the fleshly body is destroyed, they still remain alive." At this point, Pang Qianyuan's reminder sounded out. Li Luo's terrifying assault had also startled the Kings. That said it was obvious this was Li Luo's first fight against a King and thus wasn't aware of the intricacies around it. Thus Pang Qianyuan had hurriedly warned him, preventing him from being ambushed.

As Pang Qianyuan's warning sounded in his ears, Li Luo's gaze condensed as he activated the Heavenly Dragon Clarion Horn, causing sound waves to be emitted in every direction. As the sound waves dispersed, it penetrated through everything, including the void. It was then when Li Luo could sense a hidden and powerful corruption aura in the void, posed to strike like a deadly viper.

Weng!

The moment he noticed the aura, the void immediately shattered as a thousand feet large figure stepped out with an onyx whip in hand, swinging out towards him violently as it pulsed with corruption. Li Luo roared in response and neither did he retreat. Instead he brandished his spear and hammer, intending to clash directly. A storm of energy raged as the two attacks clashed.

Both the Li Luo and the black figure were sent reeling backwards.

He then raised his head and saw that it was a thousand feet large Nine-tailed Fox and as the tails swayed, it created hurricanes. These tails looked incredibly sinister as every strand of "hair" on it was actually a bloody corpse, causing blood to rain down with every motion.

The face of the Nine-tailed Fox was that of the Enchanting Fox King, the only difference was that it had now enlarged tens of times and what was once charming, now looked terrifying. This seemed to be the Enchanting Fox King's true form.

However on the fox's chest, was a deep wound, clearly resulting from Li Luo's previous attacks. The Enchanting Fox King's crimson eyes glared at Li Luo venomously, and if looks could kill, would have shredded him to pieces.

That said he remained unfazed as the desire to battle burned in his eyes. The five Heavenly Dragon treasures began to cry out in resonance as worldly natural energy surged into him, transforming into dragon source origin energy.

He then raised the Light and Dark Spear and pointed it towards the Nine-tailed Fox with boundless amounts of killing intent pulsing off his body, causing even the skies to turn dark.

Li Luo's voice then boomed out.

"Are Kings really that hard to kill? Today, I'll demonstrate to the world this feat!"
