Chapter 647: Meng Wan (2)
Chapter 647: Chapter 647: Meng Wan (2)
Meanwhile, Li Feng remained completely serious as he stared at Meng Wan, who was standing there with cold sweat running down her beautiful face.
For some reason, he suddenly felt a little bad seeing the mature beauty looking so nervous.
After all, she didn’t look like someone who had anything to do with the assassins.
But... Li Feng remembered Heaven’s guidance.
This woman was his Peach Blossom.
Li Feng silently apologized in his heart, but he still needed to see this through.
After all, this was related to his happiness tonight...
...There was no way he could simply ignore it!
Meng Wan took a deep breath and tried to calm herself.
She knew that continuing this conversation in front of everyone would only make things worse.
She lowered her head slightly and spoke in a careful tone.
"Righteous Sword, I understand why you would have doubts about my Meng Family."
Her voice was still a little nervous.
"But I swear that we have nothing to do with those assassins."
She glanced around the ruined auction hall before looking back at Li Feng.
"There are many things I need to explain, but this is not the right place to discuss them."
Meng Wan hesitated for a moment before carefully asking,
"Would you be willing to come somewhere private with me? I will explain everything that happened tonight and prove our innocence."
She quickly added,
"You have my word that I have no intention of hiding anything from you!"
Li Feng looked at her quietly.
Meng Wan’s expression remained respectful, but the nervousness in her eyes was obvious.
She was clearly afraid that Li Feng might refuse.
After all, if he continued questioning her in front of everyone, there was a good chance the situation would become even more difficult for the Meng Family.
Li Feng thought for a moment before nodding.
"Fine."
Hearing that one word, Meng Wan secretly let out a breath of relief.
"Thank you, Righteous Sword."
She turned toward the old man behind her.
"Elder Min, prepare a private room. I will personally explain everything to him."
The old man immediately nodded.
"Yes, Matriarch."
Before following Meng Wan toward the inner part of the Autumn Pavilion, Li Feng suddenly stopped.
He turned around and looked at the crowd.
The cultivators immediately became nervous again, and some even flinched.
Li Feng clenched his fist and raised it into the air.
"Everyone, rest assured!"
His voice rang through the ruined auction hall.
"I will make sure to uncover the truth and seek justice for everyone here!"
Hearing that, the cultivators stared at him.
For a moment, nobody knew what to say.
Then one cultivator quietly muttered,
"...As long as you don’t raise your pressure again."
A few people nearby immediately nodded in agreement.
Li Feng, however, didn’t seem to hear them, or perhaps he simply didn’t care.
He simply gave the crowd a solemn nod before turning around and following Meng Wan.
Behind him, several cultivators exchanged helpless looks.
They really didn’t know whether to feel grateful... or terrified.

Li Feng followed the nervous Meng Wan through the inner corridors of the Autumn Pavilion.
The heavy doors of the auction hall closed behind them, muffling the murmurs of the recovering cultivators.
Spirit lamps lined the quieter passage, casting a warm glow across polished floors.
Meng Wan walked a few steps ahead, her back straight despite the tension still visible in her shoulders.
Every so often she glanced back, as if afraid he might change his mind and return to the hall to continue questioning her in public.
Li Feng’s face remained calm and serious, but... he couldn’t help but let his eyes drift lower.
The crimson sash tightened her waist so tightly that the fabric of her robes was forced to follow every curve beneath it.
With each step, the material shifted and pulled across the full, rounded swell of her rear.
It looked so plump and shapely, the kind of soft, mature flesh that swayed with a slow, deliberate weight rather than a light bounce.
The white outer robe clung for a moment whenever she moved, outlining the deep cleft and the generous width of her hips before loosening again.
Li Feng swallowed slightly.
’Damn... That is dangerous.’
He had seen beautiful women before, and he was no stranger to them even here.
Even though she wasn’t the most beautiful woman he had been with, Meng Wan’s body carried a different kind of allure... riper, heavier, the curves of a woman who had long since finished growing into them.
Her waist was narrow enough that his hands could probably close around it, yet her hips flared wide beneath the sash, and that rear... every step made the soft flesh shift under the thin robes, the two cheeks rising and falling in a hypnotic rhythm.
And strangely, his desire seemed to pull toward her, as if he were drawn to something about her.

A short while later, Li Feng followed Meng Wan into one of the private meeting rooms deeper inside the Autumn Pavilion.
Unlike the damaged auction hall outside, this room was still completely intact.
The room was spacious and elegantly decorated, with polished jade floors, expensive wooden furniture, and several paintings hanging on the walls.
A faint fragrance filled the air, and a small incense burner placed on the table released thin trails of smoke.
Li Feng casually looked around; he could tell this place was clearly built for important guests.
"Righteous Sword, please sit."
Li Feng nodded and sat down.
Meng Wan then sat opposite him.
The old man was about to follow them inside when Meng Wan suddenly turned toward him.
"Elder Min, please stay outside and take care of the situation."
She glanced toward the direction of the auction hall.
"There are still many injured cultivators who need to be treated, and we also need to make sure the remaining guests are properly compensated."
The old man hesitated for a moment before nodding.
"Understood, Matriarch."
He bowed respectfully before turning around and leaving.
Meng Wan waited until the door closed behind him before turning her attention back to Li Feng.
Only then did she finally let out a quiet breath.
She knew the real negotiation was about to begin.
For a moment, no one spoke.
Then Meng Wan reached for the teapot, poured a cup of tea, and carefully placed it in front of Li Feng.
As she leaned forward to pour, the already low neckline of her robes shifted.
The thin white fabric pulled taut across her large chest, and the heavy weight of her breasts swayed forward with the motion.
The deep valley between them deepened as she bent, the jade pendant dipping lower and brushing against the pale swell of flesh.
"Please have some tea."
Li Feng glanced at the tea before looking back her.
"There’s no need for formalities."
His expression became serious.
"Now... You’d better have a convincing explanation to prove your innocence."
