Early the next day, Lu Lin rubbed his eyes and got out of bed, glancing at Lu Chen who was sleeping soundly wrapped in the quilt. He got out of bed, put on his clothes, and went to wash his face and brush his teeth.

"Dad, where is my mom?"

"Is mom not feeling well?" Lu Lin frowned. Usually, it was always Fu Xiaoxiao who, no matter how tired she was, would get up to make breakfast for him before going back to sleep.
"She’s just tired, let her sleep a little longer." Lu Feng thought of something and smiled brightly.
Lu Lin frowned, finding that smile from Lu Feng inexplicably a bit... infuriating.
Absent-mindedly finishing breakfast, Lu Lin slung his backpack and prepared to head to school.

"Ah! Is it that late? Oh no, Xiao Lin!" Fu Xiaoxiao suddenly remembered Lu Lin and sat up in surprise.
"Don’t worry, I’ve already sorted it out, but you need to bring him lunch at noon." Lu Feng urged Fu Xiaoxiao to lie down again for more sleep since she hadn’t gotten to sleep until after they’d spent the night up.
"It’s all your fault!" Fu Xiaoxiao glared at Lu Feng, gently scolding.
She’d already told him not to, but this dog of a man repeatedly ignored her words, biting him did no good, and each bite seemed to provoke him more.
"I can’t be blamed, I wanted to let you go, but you... how was I supposed to resist..." Lu Feng looked at Fu Xiaoxiao, feeling he couldn’t be blamed for not letting her go.
