"He’s in the kitchen!" Fu Xiaoxiao pointed to the kitchen. Wang Lu nodded and then headed straight for the kitchen.
Soon, the sounds of conversation came from the kitchen.
Fu Xiaoxiao sat down and noticed Lin Xue’s cautious avoidance. "Xiao Xue, what’s wrong? Are you avoiding Xiao Lu?"
"I’m fine, just... it’s a bit awkward seeing him." Lin Xue smiled awkwardly, with a hint of gloom and disappointment in her eyes.
"What happened?" Fu Xiaoxiao was taken aback and asked.
"This girl has fallen for Wang Lu. She had a few encounters with him before, and Wang Lu avoided her, saying she deserves a better man. Isn’t that basically rejecting her!" Seeing Lin Xue stammer for ages, Lin Qiu directly explained for her.

Lin Xue thought Wang Lu disliked her.
