“I’ve killed the Heavenly Emperor!” The Great Demon Venerate said, his voice cold, “Come back with me to the Abyss.”

“Are you serious? You want me to go back there with you?” The Great Demon Concubine snorted, “Do you think you can return to the Abyss today?”

“Don’t you forget that you’re my wife. You’re Yu Fei of the Abyss, the named disciple of the Saint Demon Lord as well as the one who is admired by the countless Abyss Demons.” The Great Demon Venerate said, his face grim.

“Hahaha!” The Great Demon Concubine let out another laugh. After a short while, she stopped laughing as her face contorted into a grotesque expression. “Tian Mo, I can’t believe that you’re talking about the Abyss to me right now. Do you know how many worlds you’ve sacrificed so that you can get what you want and sanctify your Dao? You’ve exhausted the energy of the Abyss and you’ll receive severe repercussions because of that! Besides, there’s a possibility that the Abyss will never be able to heal from its damage and forever be gone from everyone’s sight! But these are fine. At the very least, the residents in the Abyss can still survive, but you… you had to draw power from the origin of the Abyss to attack the Heavenly Emperor!

As long as we kill you, we can become the Heavenly Emperor,” the old man said as he offered a grin at the Great Demon Concubine. After that, he continued, “If Yu Fei kills you, we from the Dragon Clan will do our utmost effort to help her to become the Heavenly Emperor.”

“Ao Jin, do you really want to go against the Abyss?” The Great Demon Venerate said.

He was familiar with Ao Jin. He was the second strongest of the dragon clan. He was in the middle stage of the Quasi-Sage Realm, and he was strong.

He turned around and stood beside the Great Demon Concubine.

The corner of the Great Demon Concubine’s lips curled upward as she chuckled, “Tian Mo, no one is standing on your side anymore. Hand me over the Holy Weapon. Since you’re my husband, I can grant you a painless death!”

Black-Hearted Old Demon did not say anything, while Ao Jin just looked at them with amusement on his face.

The Great Demon Venerate’s expression was dark. He was not surprised at Venerable Chang Seng and Black-Hearted Old Demon’s decision. He did not ask them to stay. Instead, he lifted his head and announced, “Come on out. Let me see who’s after my life.”

“Amitabha!” A golden lotus appeared from thin air. There was a long-eared Buddha sitting on top of it. He was none other than the Laughing Buddha, who was highly respectable amongst the Fo Sect and was extremely powerful.

He exuded a great amount of golden light and there was pink-colored mist amongst the golden light.

As soon as he appeared, he pointed at the Great Demon Venerate and said, “Tian Mo, you’ve destroyed countless worlds and killed countless people. Not only that, but you’ve brought irrevocable damage to the Heavenly Realm and the Abyss. Your crimes are beyond redemption. If you don’t die today, many fallen souls won’t be able to rest in peace!”

“Indeed!” Another voice appeared. A sword energy emerged in the distance. It pierced through the void, and a young man stepped out of it.

There was a long sword on his back and he was walking with his hands clasped behind him.

He was the famous supreme elder of the Taishang Sword Sect, Tai Jian.

“Tian Mo, you need to die today to comfort those fallen souls!” Tian Jian flicked his finger and the sound of the sword resounded in the void.

“That’s right!” A plume of fire appeared and transformed into a woman in red clothes.

She was wearing a red dress and her hair was red. She looked just like a plume of walking fire in the distance.

She was the current leader of the Demon Holy Palace, Vermilion Bird.

The corner of the Great Demon Venerate’s lips curled sarcastically.

These people were not the only ones who came for his life. There were a lot more, and all of them were still hiding in the dark, waiting for their chance to pounce at him.

“Vermilion Bird, you shouldn’t have come,” the Great Demon Venerate said.

“Why?” Vermilion Bird frowned.

“Ao Jin, Tai Jian, Laughing Buddha… All of them have slept with Yu Fei before,” the Great Demon Venerate said, “Could it be that you’ve slept with her before too?”

He had decided to throw everything to the wind now.

Tian Mo’s face turned red.

He held the Blood Banner with his left hand and the demon blade with his right.

“Yu Fei, I’m going to make you pay for all the humiliations you’ve brought me!”

He let out a roar and charged at the group of people.
