“Does anyone else want it?” Lu Li asked for the last time.

The players who had the points to buy it all looked at each other in silence. There was no way that they’d pay 200 points for an equipment like this. The price was way higher than what they had imagined. Taking down a boss itself was worth 15 points. Even if Lu Li went crazy and gave everyone extra points, it would still only be bought for 50 points maximum.

“200 points? Only idiots would pay such a high price,” Wandering impatiently mocked.

He thought he knew what Lu Li was thinking. There were only two Thieves here – Lu Li and Water Fairy. Even if Lu Li had no more points, the equipment would go to Water Fairy anyway. So, he had no pressure on how he spent his points.

“What are you looking at? I’ll give you a red pocket later, so keep looting,” Lu Li grunted. He assigned the equipment to himself. It was a level 60 equipment which couldn’t be used yet, and it was still better to use Ocean’s Breeze for the Molten Core.

Remnant Dream happily went back to looting. Although Lu Li was a stingy person, his red packets always contained generous amounts of coins. Remnant Dream could hear the coins rattle around in her money bag. This was because he himself was very unlucky, so he really valued when players were lucky.

She had begun to expand her pet garden recently and the number of pets in her pet garden were rapidly increasing, so money was currently more important to her.

She was also the club master of a pet club she formed. All the club members were players who loved pets or pet merchants. The club mainly hosted pet related events and supplied a platform for exchange of information and trading. Perhaps it would make a profit in the future, but right now, it was just an expensive project.

“Oh, a pet!” Remnant Dream exclaimed excitedly, “It’s a Core Hound!”

Star Baby got excited as well because she was also someone who loved pets.

She regretted spending 185 points for the necklace previously. Although acquiring gear was good, it wasn’t as cute as a pet.

The atmosphere surrounding the Ruling sword players was quiet compared to the excitement in Drizzle Court. No one even bothered lifting their heads to see the Core Hound that had been discovered.

Although the pet was called a Core Hound, it was just a mini version of the standard Core Hound. It was about the size of the palm of a hand, covered in flames, and its steps sounded like a trotting pony. When the Core Hound snorted, a few sparks and flames might even shoot out from its nose. It was so cute!

“Uhm, based on the usual rules, this item isn’t available for auction. So Dreamy, just have it,” Lu Li announced. He felt a little awkward because he forgot to mention this when they were talking about the rules of equipment distribution beforehand. Never once did pets come up as a topic of discussion when establishing the rules.

Who would’ve known that a pet would appear? Lu Li himself had barely seen anyone with a Core Hound pet in his previous life.

Star Baby was disappointed, but then she quickly realized, “What? Do you all just give the pets to Dreamy? Does no one else want it?”

“Yes, or rather, all pets obtained from group events are distributed to her for free, unless she doesn’t want it,” Lu Li explained patiently. This kind of distribution had started a long time ago.

“Ahhh, alright, I finally understand everything now,” Star Baby said, as she gave up the thought of stealing from Remnant Dream in the future.

Everyone knew the luckiest player in Dawn liked pets. Some had tried to use pets to lure Remnant Dream into their guild. However, Ruling Sword made a better offer than anyone else! “All the pets in group events or raids are yours”. This promise came from the number one team in Dawn. They had achieved countless First Clears and were the team with the best chance of obtaining pets before anyone else.

Magmadar was a dead end; Lu Li had everyone turn back and headed in another direction. They quickly arrived before the third boss, Gehennas. This boss looked a little like Lucifron and also had two underlings.

In fact, the method to take down this boss was very similar to Lucifron.

Lu Li had Wandering taunt the boss, while World’s Best Friend and Azure Sea Breeze taunted the two side monsters. Meanwhile, the mages continued to remove the boss’ curses.

The difference between the two bosses was that Gehennas’ curse was different to Lucifron’s. Lucifron drained the player’s mana, but Gehennas reduced the healing that players received by 70%.

They were both terrible curses. Without mana, there wouldn’t be any damage or healing output. On the other hand, a 70% reduction on healing effects meant that a healing spell that could heal 100 health points could now only heal for 30. If this curse was left alone, the healers would waste their time trying to heal anyone.

Gehennas was a Warlock and flung Shadow Bolts everywhere. Sometimes, he would cast Rain of Fire, and if players didn’t dodge quickly enough, there were no healing spells strong enough to save them from the damage dealt. Those with a slower reflex would be better off standing there and awaiting their death.

Although Gehennas was similar to Lucifron, it still took three attempts before the boss was defeated.

Lu Li and the others couldn’t guarantee whether or not they could take down Lucifron in a single attempt and Magmadar was even worse. They wouldn’t stand a chance. They’d be team wiped again and again; there was no use knowing the guide.

Even if Lu Li was to hand the guide over to other guilds, they probably wouldn’t be able to take down the bosses regardless.

Gold coins, Synthetic Stones and Fortified Stones were all passed to Lu Li. However, there was also a level reduction Synthetic stone. It reduced the level requirement of an item by 10% and it was very rare. Lu Li could almost guarantee that Gehennas won’t drop another one for another 2-3 months. Lu Li kept the stone, but he gave all players involved another 20 points for it.

This stone wasn’t just for him either; it belonged to the guild.

There was also a Warlock skill book which was received by Sesame Rice Ball, along with a Thief spell book, which Water Fairy won the auction for.

Three Gold equips were all taken by Lu Li. Lu Li compensated the Main Tank, Healers and Magic classes with some money. Even though it was only 20 gold coins each, there were quite a number of players eligible for this compensation, so he could feel his heart ache as he handed it out. Maybe if he sold all three gold equipment, he might be able to get some money back.

There was still a market around for Dark Gold equipment.

A decent Healing Shaman equipment dropped, which Drizzle Court received, so Lu Li had to deduct their points.

Although they were friends, he still needed to follow the rules or else he wouldn’t be able to enforce them. After all, only three players from Drizzle Court came, and Ruling Sword had 36 players involved. There were also a bunch of substitutes outside ready to come in.

Although substitute players didn’t usually enter the dungeon, they also had their share of points. Every time a boss was killed, they could obtain an amount of points. If no one requested Dark Gold equipment, it could be distributed to them through the team channel. Lu Li would pass the equipment to them after he left the dungeon.

Two Dark Gold equipment remained. One was given to Low Point Brother and the other was given to a substitute who won the auction.
