Yan Gu and the others had been standing around the mountain for an hour. The other Semi-God Realm warriors that survived had come as well. Those at the initial stage and middle stages kept a distance of three miles. Only Yan Gu, Jun Hongye, Chen Tianxian, and Feng Wanhu were one and a half miles away from the mountain.

Altogether, over one hundred Semi-God Realm warriors joined this mission, including 10 at the peak. At the moment, only about a score of warriors at the initial and middle stage of the Semi-God Realm survived and the four were the only ones at the peak of the realm.

Lu Li was young, which meant that he was not like an old man who would be disillusioned with the mortal world and dead to all feelings. Judging by the information collected from searching Lu Feiyang’s soul, Lu Li valued his relationships. Lu Family rested on a large fortune and he had three wives.

It was pointless for the warriors at the initial stage and middle stage of the Semi-God Realm to stay here. It was better that they were sent to the Great Land while those at the peak stayed to attack at the Wicked Bead. On the off chance that Lu Li came out, those at the peak were fast enough to run away.

God of Wings’s avatar was destroyed and so was the statue of Emperor of Heaven Reverse. As long as they could get the Wicked Bead, their trip would be fruitful. Yan Gu could have something to report and all would stand to gain handsomely.

But Jun Hongye, Chen Tianxian, and Feng Wanhu were still worried that Lu Li could kill them. That being said, being famed warriors from the nine universes, they could not chicken out. If they returned to the nine universes just in the current state, they would be despised in their entire lives. Powerful warriors all had their pride and they would not admit defeat easily.

“Nice!”

In the end, Jun Hongye was the first to nod yes. The hatred between him and Lu Li was too deep. Jun Hongye had another concern. If they let Lu Li go this time and gave him time to develop, he would definitely go to the nine universes to wipe their families out.

They needed leverage. When the twenty-some Semi-God Realm warriors had Lu Li’s families and friends in control or had gathered up enough humans as hostages, they would have something they could to put pressure on Lu Li with—even if he was going to use the Slayer’s blood again. They were not far away from the entrance. There were many such entrances to the Great Land, but the majority of them were sealed off or destroyed. As a matter of fact, sealing off the passageways was pointless because the warriors of the nine universes knew how to open up barriers. Therefore, toward the end, Lu Li ordered for the passageways to be destroyed.

There were some with knowledge of Inhibition Formations among the group of Semi-God Realm warriors. Soon, they found an entrance that had been sealed off. They used some Xuan Energy and the seal was off.

A Semi-God Realm warrior from the Divine Imperial Universe waved his hand. He was Fang Rui. Though he was not from the Yan Family, he was in close terms with him. In addition, he was reliable. Hence, Yan Gu made Fang Rui the team leader.

The group of warriors entered one by one. A moment later, they emerged in a mountain range. This was where the Palace of Heaven’s Roars was at. It was not the City of Heaven’s Roars, but a mountain three thousand miles to the south of the city.

Naturally, there were some warriors guarding here, who were immobilized as soon as the Semi-God Realm warriors came.

“Do not kill all of them. I need a few alive!”

He waved his hand without hesitation and said, “Go to the City of Heaven’s Roars and capture the leaders and patriarchs of the Palace of Heaven’s Roars. Let them gather up all the civilians near the city. If Lu Li did not care about the billions of people’s lives, we would kill them all. If he still showed no emotion, we would move forward and slaughter all the humans of the Great Land!”

The Semi-God Realm warriors’ eyes glowed red. Too many of their friends and families had been killed by Lu Li. Only by unrestrained slaughter could they vent some of the anger that stemmed from this deep-rooted hatred.
