The Great Ruler

The Great Thousand World had counterattacked the Demon’s Domain for three and a half years. During those three and a half years, the army that had been formed by the Great Thousand World Alliance had destroyed eight of the 32 Main Clans and many of the small clans. Judging from the overall results, they had done a good job. They had reduced the Extraterritorial Race’s power by a quarter.

However, the Flame Emperor and Martial Ancestor were not happy with the results. As the battle continued over the years, they looked even more grave. During the three and a half years, they never saw the Heavenly Evil Deity. However, they could indistinctly feel a great oppression taking shape. Apparently, the Heavenly Evil Deity was hiding somewhere, regaining his strength…

The Extraterritorial Race was currently laying low, but once the Heavenly Evil Deity opened his nine eyes, they would take action and start their ruthless acts again. They would strike back at the Great Thousand World and make them pay for the lives they had taken during the past three years. When that happened, there would be bloodshed in the Great Thousand World.

The Demon’s Domain was a deserted continent. Spiritual light glittered around, and several Spiritual Clones filled up the area. These Spiritual Clones had made the continent more vibrant. They were the army of the Great Thousand World Alliance.

The Flame Emperor and Martial Ancestor stood on the tallest mountain peak of the continent and shut their eyes. They activated their Spiritual Energy Sensors and covered a large area of the continent at lightning speed, checking for any strange fluctuations in the Lower Planes.

After checking for half a day, they did not find anything amiss. The Extraterritorial Race seemed to have retreated to somewhere far away. When this thought came to the Flame Emperor and Martial Ancestor’s minds, they intended to stop checking. However, just as they were about to withdraw their Spiritual Energy Sensors, they were drawn to a spot in space. They indistinctly felt a familiar fluctuation emanating from the spot. The fluctuation belonged to the Heavenly Evil Deity!

“We have finally found you!”

Even though the Flame Emperor and Martial Ancestor were usually calm, they could not help feeling excited. After they had triggered their thoughts, vast power filled their Spiritual Energy Sensors, and they tore the space in the particular spot apart.

There seemed to be a large black hole in the space, and two powerful Spiritual Energy Torrents came down from the sky, carrying with them the Flame Emperor and Martial Ancestor’s willpower. Given the level of their power, although the Flame Emperor and Martial Ancestor might have been far away, as long as the area was covered by their Spiritual Energy Sensors, they could send forth their spiritual energy to the area in an instant.

The two Spiritual Energy Torrents gushed into the black hole and hung before a hall. The Flame Emperor and Martial Ancestor saw the evil-looking Saint Heaven Demon Emperor standing outside the hall. They paid no attention to the Saint Heaven Demon Emperor and cast their attention deep into the space. A horrifying destructive fluctuation was surging in the darkness deep within.

“It is the Heavenly Evil Deity!”

The two Spiritual Energy Torrents thundered. They pierced through the area and whooshed deep into the darkness. They tore the darkness apart and saw a Demonic Shadow sitting cross-legged in it. It was the Heavenly Evil Deity. When the Heavenly Evil Deity realized that his enemy had found him, he slowly opened his eyes. His eyes were dark, and they seemed ready to devour any light that was around him.

“Both of you are irritating like pests…” The Heavenly Evil Deity sneered and curled his lips up into a derisive smile when he saw the two Spiritual Energy Torrents. “However, you are too late!” The moment the Heavenly Evil Deity finished his statement, the Evil Eyes on his palms and chest opened up, joining his two regular eyes and the three Evil Eyes on his forehead.

Eight Evil Eyes!

When the eight Evil Eyes opened, vast Demonic Energy filled up the area. Several beacons rose up and gathered to form a huge, dark Demonic Wheel. Wherever the Demonic Wheel passed, it tore the area apart.

Boom!

The Demonic Wheel hit the two Spiritual Energy Torrents as they came down from the sky, and the collision caused the area to quake. The entire Lower Planes shook and seemed about to collapse.

“Do you think that the two of you can deal with me simply with the power of your Spiritual Energy Torrents? You can forget about it, as I have eight eyes now!” The Heavenly Evil Deity mocked them and laughed. The Demonic Wheel moved more quickly, and the demonic light tore the Lower Planes apart. At the same time, it destroyed the two Spiritual Energy Torrents.

After the Demonic Wheel had crushed the two Spiritual Energy Torrents, it did not dissipate. It went after the Spiritual Energy Sensors and disappeared after it pierced through the space.

When the Flame Emperor and Martial Ancestor opened their eyes back on the continent, they looked gloomy. They then lifted up their heads and saw that the space was torn apart, and a huge Demonic Wheel was coming down towards the continent, ready to smash it apart.

The army of the Great Thousand World Alliance was immediately alerted by the sudden attack. All of them looked pale when they noticed the Demonic Wheel’s horrifying power. The Flame Emperor’s face looked cold, and he formed a seal with his hands. When he shook his sleeve, flames swirled out and turned into a huge dragon. The huge dragon roared and hit the Demonic Wheel.

Boom!

When the collision took place, the Flaming Dragon was torn apart, and the Demonic Wheel was burned and became dim. Apparently, the Demonic Energy had weakened. The Martial Ancestor threw out a punch, and wherever the wind blast of the fist passed, the space would collapse. When the fist blasted on the dim Demonic Wheel, the Demonic Wheel exploded and turned into black spots.

“Not bad, not bad. Both of you have become better over the years. However, it is not a good time for us to meet. Please wait a little longer. When my ninth eye is well again, I will come and look for you. Hahaha, these past few years, you have been killing my Extraterritorial Race. When I meet you again, I will make sure that you pay me back ten times and 100 times more!” The Heavenly Evil Deity laughed, and his laughter resounded in the area where the Demonic Wheel had broken.

The masters from the Great Thousand World looked pale when they heard what the Heavenly Evil Deity had said. Their eyes were filled with fear and anger. The Flame Emperor and Martial Ancestor looked at each other on the mountain peak and saw the grim look on each other’s faces. When they had exchanged blows with the Heavenly Evil Deity earlier, they noticed that his power had increased tremendously.

Previously, when they had joined forces to take on the Heavenly Evil Deity, they still had the upper hand. If they could have found the right opportunity, they might even have been able to suppress the Heavenly Evil Deity back then. However, when they exchanged blows with him this time around, they were unable to have an edge over him, even though they had joined forces to take him on.

For the past few years, they had not been slack in their cultivation. Although they had become more powerful, it was apparent that the Heavenly Evil Deity had become even more powerful at a quicker pace.

Swoosh!

Qin Tian, the Green Shirt Sword Saint, the Real Dragon Emperor, and the other Divine Heavenly Sovereigns came over to the Flame Emperor and Martial Ancestor and stood behind them. All of them had a grave look on their faces, and they asked, “Flame Emperor, Martial Ancestor, have you found out where the Heavenly Evil Deity is hiding?”

The Flame Emperor and Martial Ancestor nodded and replied, “We found him a while ago. However, he probably has moved on by now. He is very cautious. He does not seem to have any intention of taking us head on before he is back in top form.”

Qin Tian said with a pale look, “Earlier on, the Heavenly Evil Deity seemed to have mentioned that eight of his eyes have recovered.”

The Flame Emperor and Martial Ancestor sighed when they heard what Qin Tian had said.

The Real Dragon Emperor asked in his deep voice, “What shall we do now? Shall we continue to search around for the Heavenly Evil Deity?”

The Flame Emperor shook his head and replied, “Get ready and let the army retreat. For the past three years, we have been attacking the Extraterritorial Race, and our army is worn out. Since we are unable to stop the Heavenly Evil Deity from regaining his strength, we can only wait.”

Moreover, given the Heavenly Evil Deity’s current strength, the Flame Emperor and Martial Ancestor could not harm him, even if they managed to locate him. If they had been held back by the Heavenly Evil Deity, the Extraterritorial Race might use the opportunity to counterattack the Great Thousand World Alliance’s army, and the army would suffer many casualties.

When the Divine Heavenly Sovereigns heard what the Flame Emperor had said, they were silent. Although they had attacked the Extraterritorial Race for three years and had killed some of their top powers, they had not reached their ultimate goal.

The Flame Emperor consoled the Divine Heavenly Sovereigns when he saw the anxious look on their faces. “Gentlemen, please do not worry. The Undying Lord has sent news to inform us that Mu Chen has successfully cultivated the Tri-God Level. He is now cultivating the Endless Light Body and the Great Spirit Sacred Body. If he succeeds in cultivating these two bodies, he may be able to become the third person to leave his name on the Heaven’s Declaration. When this happens, the three of us can join forces to take the Heavenly Evil Deity on, even though his ninth eye may already have recovered by then.”

When the Divine Heavenly Sovereigns heard what the Flame Emperor had said, they looked more hopeful, and their faces became less tense.

“Pass down the order to get ready to retreat.”

The Divine Heavenly Sovereigns cupped their fists in response to the Flame Emperor, and they turned into shadows and darted out. Very quickly, there was a commotion in the continent, and spiritual light started to glitter. The army was getting ready to retreat from the Demon’s Domain.

The Flame Emperor and Martial Ancestor stood on the mountain peak and sighed when they looked at the Spiritual Clones on the continent. Their faces were extremely grim as they knew that the Great Thousand World would soon have to face a devastating situation. It would be a matter of life and death for them. The people of the Great Thousand World might lose their lives when that happened…
