"I don’t know his name." The green-haired Xi Wei was surprised by the question. "Why do you ask? Is it perhaps that you were unaware of his becoming a Deity? I should not be wrong but…you are both from the Xia Clan, are you not?"
"That’s right." Xue Ying nodded.
He couldn’t be bothered to consider anything else. With a wave of his hand, he caused World Energy to start condensing into an image of Chao Qing in front of him.
"It’s him, right?" Xue Ying asked again.
"Mn." The green-haired Xi Wei nodded.
Those words caused joy to burst out in Xue Ying’s heart.
Chao Qing had opened up the Deity Sea and had already become a Deity?
Fabulous, truly fabulous! This, this is truly awesome! Xue Ying was extremely excited. Not even news of him managing to cure his poison would make him this excited. Senior Chao Qing becoming a Deity means that our Xia Clan has another Deity at this very moment! When the Sorcerer God and the Great Demonic God start the war, our Xia Clan should now have the means to defend against them!
Chao Qing not dying was something worth celebrating. But for him to have become a Deity was truly even more incredible!
A Deity…especially one that broke through with a grade four Deity Heart, might not have had a combat power that could match that of Xue Ying, Chen Jiu, or Lord You Lan. His combat power would, at the very most, come close to theirs!
But Deities had their own unique advantages, such as being able to operate Battleship D9!
With Senior Chao Qing’s help, we’ll have an endless supply of Deity energy that could unleash the prowess of Battleship D9. Even if the battleship’s arrays are too complex for him to completely comprehend, by unleashing Deity energy, the power of the battleship would be leagues apart. Xue Ying was exhilarated.
"Senior Xi Wei," Xue Ying began, "Has he left this place, or is he still in Crimson Rock Mountain?"
"He has long since left," the green-haired woman Xi Wei replied. "He should have normally been able to cultivate for another thousand years within the Cultivation Eden. But the moment he became a Deity, he decided to depart from it. Furthermore, with his combat power, he couldn’t take on the the trials for the Deity realm either. He has naturally left Crimson Rock Mountain and should have returned to the Xia Clan."
Actually, Crimson Rock Mountain also had a Deity realm trial in addition to the Demigod one, which was, of course, designed for true Deities! Those Deity Avatars that were suppressed to the level of the peak stage Demigod realm could not be considered true Deities, and neither would they be considered Demigods.
"He’s left Crimson Rock Mountain? And he returned to the Xia Clan?" Xue Ying was puzzled. "When did he become a Deity?"
"What’s with all the questions? Do you have any enmity with him?" The green-haired Xi Wei frowned. She felt that something was amiss. Clearly, Chao Qing had become a Deity, so why did this Xia Clan brat not already hear about it? She refused to speak in any more detail.
Xue Ying was contemplating. Chao Qing had reached the end of his 3000-years lifespan, and should have become a Deity near the end of that period.
In other words, he should have returned to the Xia Clan a decade ago!
Xue Ying pondered, I’ve not heard anything about him returning though. When we were under the assault of Lord You Lan and the others, Chao Qing didn’t appear either. But he has obviously left this place. Senior Chao Qing can now control a Deity Domain, so he couldn’t have just died without a mark within the Xia Clan world. Just by unleashing a little of his Deity energy, it would have shocked the entire realm.
This can only mean one thing—he’s deliberately hiding!
Xue Ying’s eyes brightened up in joy.
That was right. He was hiding!
There are very likely to still be traitors from the Demonic Faction hiding amongst the Demigods of our Xia Clan. Thus, for the sake of hiding, Senior Chao Qing hasn’t told any other Transcendents—not even Palace Head Chen. Xue Ying nodded inwardly. Palace Head Chen might be absolutely loyal to the clan, but his actions might be spied upon by traitors from the dark. Only by not telling anyone can such a secret be truly kept hidden.
If he were to publicize this matter...
The Sorcerer God and the Great Demonic God would both find out and understand that attacking the Xia Clan would be much harder. They would then prefer to wait seven thousand years until Senior Chao Qing leaves for the Deity world before they begin their attack. Xue Ying understood this point. And even if they don’t delay the war and force an attack on the Xia Clan world, they would most likely still prepare something behind the back of Senior Chao Qing.
When facing the Xia Clan, the Sorcerer God and the Great Demonic God…were mostly focused on Xue Ying alone.
Yet Chao Qing was hiding in the dark.
A concealed killing move was that much more formidable!
By concealing our power, we’ll have the offensive initiative in our hands. Xue Ying felt inwardly pleased. Senior Chao Qing would rather bear with it and let Lord You Lan and the others provoke us than act personally. Right, we shouldn’t let minor affairs affect the big picture. Compared to the Sorcerer God and the Great Demonic God, Lord You Lan and the others can, at most, be considered as minor troubles.

Xue Ying’s smile was truly bright. "I’ve decided to view the Creation of Heaven and Earth."
At this moment, Xue Ying was truly carefree.
He had previously felt a huge pressure mounting on him due to the threat of extinction the Xia Clan was facing. But now, the huge pressure on his back had lightened, and his mood changed tremendously for the better.
"Alright." Xi Wei nodded before waving her hand.
A space undulation enveloped Xue Ying, sending him away from that location.

In the Xia Clan world, a wooden boat was floating on the sea next to a pure-white beach, and riding this boat was an old man wearing tattered clothings, who was currently occupied with fishing.
He seemed to be fishing unperturbed, but in reality, his Deity Domain had engulfed the space surrounding him, extending his senses over the entire mortal world. This way, he could immediately sense any battle happening if the disturbance was bigger than normal! Comparing sensing abilities, as a Deity who grasped hold of a Deity Domain, he could be said to be the strongest in this entire mortal world. Of course, this matter would be different should a Deity Avatar descend onto this world.
A Deity Avatar descending would most likely belong to a World Deity.
Even though his power would be limited to the peak of the Demigod realm by the mortal world and would at most be comparable to that of the top three Demigods—not even close to any of the Era Suppressors like General Ku Meng or Nuo Nuo An—his understanding of the Laws of Profound Mysteries would be much deeper. Despite being weaker in terms of power, he could still kill any newly ascended Deities. Even Transcendents at the level of Lord You Lan or Xue Ying would simply die at the hands of this Deity Avatar.
The primary reason for this was that the gap between their comprehensions of the Laws of Profound Mysteries was too vast.
I’m truly happy that Xue Ying, that brat, was strong enough. During that crucial moment, he was able to obstruct that Demigod from the Dark Abyss, Lord You Lan. The old man continued fishing. Had Lord You Lan really started slaughtering the entire Xia Clan, I’d most likely have been forced to reveal myself.
Back when Lord You Lan attacked, the disturbance created when he destroyed the mountain protection arrays atop of the Black White Deity Mountain and killed Feng Dong wasn’t too big. Chao Qing had sensed it all the same, however, and immediately left for that location.
He had arrived there much earlier than Xue Ying did.
At that moment, he was watching in the dark from afar…and was very close to losing his composure and revealing himself. After all, he could not possibly watch as countless mortals from throughout the Xia Clan world were killed right in front of his very eyes. Fortunately, Xue Ying had managed to handle everything, which he was really grateful for. He had watched Xue Ying grow over the years, and his combat power had now reached a level where he was not even weaker than a Deity like Chao Qing himself.
Those teams have entered Crimson Rock Mountain. Xue Ying has also gone inside. I sincerely hope that he’ll be able to get his poison cured and once more soar up to the skies. While I might be a threat to the Sorcerer God and the Great Demonic God after becoming a Deity, this threat can’t be considered life-threatening. Comparatively, if Xue Ying is to become a Deity, they’ll simply lose. Chao Qing was silently waiting for that moment when Xue Ying reached his greatest heights inside Crimson Rock Mountain.

Xue Ying, Uncle Fu, Chen Jiu, and the Meishan Clan Master were all located outside of a canyon within a hidden region inside Crimson Rock Mountain.
Chen Jiu was astonished to see Xue Ying. "Xue Ying, you’ve also come? Have you really chosen to watch the Creation of Heaven and Earth?"
"Why is everyone standing here?" Xue Ying curiously asked.
"We can’t just go in," Uncle Fu answered from the side. "Only one person may watch the Creation of Heaven and Earth at any single time, and the order was simply decided through ‘first come, first serve.’ We thus have to wait for Wu Ma Hai to finish before the next one may enter."
Xue Ying nodded in enlightenment.
