Zhang Che didn’t show any hints of excitement on his face as the pile of python meat grew larger, because this was still not enough to fill up the freed up space in the Rock Tortoise’s spatial pocket.

And now, he could no longer continue extracting the python’s meat.

Footsteps of varying intensities could be heard from all sides in the distance. Obviously, the smell of the Titan Python’s blood had spread into the surroundings, and attracted a bunch of scavengers.

“Alright, the feast ends here!”

Although it couldn’t be helped, Zhang Che managed to stop his babies from eating. After getting the Rock Tortoise to absorb the last few cubic meters worth of python meat into its spatial pocket, he recalled all of them into his spiritual sea.

Zhang Che took a last glance at the Titan Python’s corpse, which was still pretty intact, and picked up speed hastily, running towards a large tree in the distance. As he got close, the long whip in his hand coiled around the tree and pulled him up.

A minute passed. Over a dozen huge beasts of various sizes came running in from all directions. First, they looked at each other with hostile gazes, then started to split the remnants of the Titan Python’s corpse among themselves tacitly.

Zhang Che hid himself on top of a tree, standing on a branch. He swept his gaze across these exotic beasts, looking through their attributes. After doing so, he silently pulled the branches closer to him, better concealing himself…

Those fellows ate at a shocking speed. Not even half an hour later, the Titan Python was reduced to nothing but bones. The exotic beasts exchanged looks with one another again, then scattered in all directions, returning to their own territories.

What surprised Zhang Che was that these exotic beasts, which were basically all huge dinosaur-like beasts, didn’t sense the spiritual herb’s aura on top of the withered tree at all.

-Could it be because they were of different species?

-The Steel-Armored Tyrannosaurus didn’t sense the aura of the spiritual herb, either.-

Zhang Che felt that this was pretty likely, and he was very happy to see this outcome, of course. Otherwise, would he have any hope of obtaining the spiritual herb if those big guys discovered it?

After confirming that those huge beasts wouldn’t come back, Zhang Che slid down from the tree and ran back to the Titan Python’s skeleton.

Well, this used to be a six-star dark gold-quality exotic beast. Even its skeleton was valuable. Now, wasn’t it the trend to use materials from high-level, high-quality exotic beasts to craft those neo-weapons? This stuff was sure to be useful!

There was still some space available in the Rock Tortoise’s spatial pocket. Although he couldn’t loot the entire skeleton, it would be no problem to take a fraction of it away.

The Mutated Puffersword was naturally unable to deal with the skeleton. Thus, Zhang Che had to have the Steel-Armored Tyrannosaurus to act as a dismantler.

Having eaten a satisfying meal of roasted meat, the Steel-Armored Tyrannosaurus had no qualms toward obeying Zhang Che’s orders. He carried out his mission loyally, violently dismantling the Titan Python’s skeleton.

Crackling sounds went on for a few minutes. Finally, the pitiful Titan Python was left without a complete corpse.

Zhang Che ignored the thick, tough spine, since he couldn’t take much away, and it was comparatively less valuable than the Titan Python’s ribs.

After tossing in a few dozen rib bones that were thick as an arm, each over two meters long, the Rock Tortoise was finally too full to continue “eating”.

-Ah, this guy’s spatial pocket is a little too small, after all. There’s no way to move the pile of purple-gold crystal elsewhere, either. Going forward, woun’t I be unable to take any large valuable objects that I find?-

Zhang Che thought that the Rock Tortoise’s spatial pocket was pretty large not too long ago. At this moment, he felt a deep sense of dissatisfaction. He really hoped that the Rock Tortoise’s spatial pocket could enlarge by ten times or so. That would be sufficient, then.

Alas, this was all but wishful thinking.

Zhang Che looked at the large pile of Titan Python rib bones on the ground, reluctant to part with them. After securing it, he used the whip to pull himself up.

When he arrived at the platform on top of the withered tree, overgrown with grass, Zhang Che’s gaze was immediately drawn to a tiny purple stalk.

This plant was entirely purple in color, and only had a few branches. Tiny purple petals grew on it, and within these petals were three egg-sized exotic fruits, as translucent as gemstones.

“I’m rich! There’s actually three of them!”

Zhang Che’s saliva nearly overflowed from the corners of his lips. Although he didn’t know the efficacy of these exotic fruits, at the very least, they would be very helpful to raising a beast’s quality.

Otherwise, how could it attract the six-star dark gold-quality Titan Python?

“In other words, when these three exotic fruits fully mature, their combined efficacy is enough to advance a mid-tier dark gold-quality beast?”

Zhang Che immediately recounted his dark gold-quality subdued beasts and pets. He realized that there were actually quite a number of them!

-There’s the three-starred Purple Jade Condor, Dark-Scaled Lizard Commander, four-starred Scarlet Flame Drake, and the five-star legend-quality Steel-Armored Tyrannosaurus! Four of them in total!

Well, it seemed that he could also strengthen the Cold Abyss Flood Dragon. That fellow’s arctic breath could come in very useful in certain situations.

Regrettably, beasts of the dinosaur species didn’t seem to be interested in the fruit. It was probably because consuming the spiritual herb was useless to them.

As expected, when Zhang Che summoned the Steel-Armored Tyrannosaurus and had it take a look at those three exotic fruits, that fellow immediately revealed a confused and uninterested look.

Well… he couldn’t upgrade his strongest combatant.

This left him with a real headache…

If the strongest guy was to be excluded, then reasonably speaking, he should choose the next best fighter, in this case, the Scarlet Flame Drake?

However, the Scarlet Flame Drake’s skill was already plenty powerful. Moreover, Zhang Che could replenish its vital energy anytime, effectively turning its powerful skill into an ordinary attack. It would be the most advantageous if this fellow could advance from consuming these three fruits.

Thinking about it, however, there shouldn’t be any problems, right?
